Love this strainer!

I love this strainer - it was gifted to me to write a review and I couldn't be happier. The large surface area is great for grabbing just about anything but I use it for pasta and it allows me to keep the reserved water without dirtying another glass or dish. So sturdy and looks nice too!

Attractive and functional

Heavy, well made stainless strainer. I do not deep fry often but was motivated to make French fries when I got this. Worked well, easily scooped out the fries. Very pretty, has hole in the end to hang and display if desired.

Durable and large

Don't be afraid to strain anything with this strainer. You won't need your big sink colander any more. Just use this guy and your good to go!

High quality - great strainer!

I love Kitchenaid products, and when I saw this strainer, I was very excited because I didn't have one! This strainer is so nice, and I've already used it a lot in my kitchen. It is high quality, very sturdy, and strains as expected. I can tell I will get a lot of use of this in my kitchen, and I am thrilled to have such an excellent strainer.

High quality piece

This strainer is as high quality as my All Clad cookware set. Finish matches them to a tee. The strainer looks to be formed out of one piece of stainless and has a good heft to it. I can not be happier with the strainer.

KitchenAid strainer

This is one big strainer. It’s fairly heavy but the handle is comfortable to hold because of its ergonomic shape. So far, I’ve been using it for scooping pasta out of a pot, but I can see this being helpful for soups and stews. It's easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. I also like the hook at the top so it can be stored on a rack. I'm already getting lots of use out of this in the kitchen.
