Good replacement for a jewerler's screwdriver set.

Everyone occasionally needs a small screwdriver and we used to rely on a cheap "jeweler's" set. The case broke over time and it became easy to misplace one or more of these. Therefore, i was looking for a better solution and i bought this tool. I like that it has two small slot head bits and two small Phillips bits, thereby eliminating the need for a complete set. Just pull out and flip over the bit to get to a different size bit or pull of the driver shank and flip over to get to the other type bits. Pretty simple and convenient! I also like the "spinning" head on the handle which makes tightening or loosening screws easier and faster. I recommend this tool if you ever need a smaller driver.

Great small screwdriver

Bought this to work on some electronics that use small screws to hold the wire down, well this works great for it. If you use it 2 hand, you can turn the driver faster, thus making removal of those longer, fine thread screws/bolts easier. Also used it to change batteries on my car keys. Overall if you need one of these small Phillips or flat head screwdrives, get this

Worth Every Penny

Anyone giving this less than 5 stars or complaining about a failure because they use it for anything other than it's intended purpose is giving this product a bad reputation. This is a superior driver on multiple levels as it is several screwdrivers in 1 with many fine features. Treat it well and it will give you many years of reliable use. Treat it like a pry-bar or anything beyond a flat / phillips screwdriver and you deserve to have it fail. I have purchased 2 now and the only reason I've ordered a second is a gift to a coworker who used it and was very impressed by its versatility and quality. I will buy these as a holiday gift for the rest of my staff as they have proven worthy on multiple levels.

Replacement driver

This is my second one of these, I snapped my original driver which was hardly surprising as they aren’t really pry bars ???????????? Still I had no second thoughts to replace them with like for like, they are very very good and it was my misuse that snapped them. I use them in conjunction with the Klein stubby and the Klein 11 in 1 driver. Those 3 drivers that cost less than £50, which are very small give me 19 options on the job and get a lot of use, the grips are great and the swivel head on these make for speedy tightening/loosening. The only downside is if you put them away wet they will rust, so give them a wipe down after work around water. That should not put you off purchasing them, they are well worth the money.

I wouldn't use it as a lever

After buying this guys big brother I decided for the same price as a CK electronics screwdriver set it might be worth giving it a shot. Much like all of klein tools and the 11 in 1 hvac screwdriver you can instantly tell its well made, the attention to each minor detail is worth every penny. For more intricate jobs this is ideal, unfortunately the central bar feels a little like it could bend and become damaged if you fail to treat it like your wife's pampered handbag pooch. I assume if you are used to working with tiny little connectors you may be more delicate of hand than a service engineer that's used fighting with seized bolts and screws that some idiots driven in with an impact 5 years ago. As such I'm not convinced of its longevity being thrown around in my toolbag but it is what it is. Nice screwdriver for limited uses that requires extra care on the type of connections you need glasses for at 40. Worst comes to the worst, I'll post it through the neighbours door, he can use it to defend himself from his daughters budgie.

Nice bit of kit but treat it well.

I absolutely love these little screwdrivers they are so handy however please be careful. The main shaft is very easy to bend as it has a hole cut in it it for the detent bearing to sit in, and this is a weak point and have accidentally bent it once. Fortunately I was able to straighten it ok and refit the spring and ball bearing. However I have now had to replace it completely as as the small ball and spring that keeps the tiny screwdriver bits in the main shaft has popped out and my eyes are not like microscopes so I can't find the damn things. I can now only use one end of my screwdriver bit it and the other end has to be held in with a piece of tape. I have purchased another one to replace this one however I am so scared of it happening again I'm still getting by with my old one.
