Prefect fit

This strap is very well made except for the rivets to hold the D-ring on the tool bag. I drilled a second hole in each holder and used nuts and bolts to mount it to the bag. Other than that it is a very good but.

rivets are terrible

The leather strap is great, but the rivets are terrible could not get them to hold. I went to Lowes and bought screws and locking nuts, that works great. I had to only give three stars because of this.

I purchased this kit to replace a shoulder strap for the Klein 18" leather tool bag. It fits just right and is made of the same rugged leather that my Klein tool bag is. It's just right and the adjustable belt notches make it ideal no matter your height.

Cool strap, bad punches

Love the product get ready to switch out punches that are included because they cant even support the weight of a bag, I improvised with a screw and a couple washers. Great strap for a klein bag though

Expensive with poorly designed attachment hardware

Works when modified. Crappy rivet attachment is not adequate, I drilled, tapped and double-nutted my canvas Klein bag to attach this strap: way too much time and expense for something that should come already attached to Klein tool bags. The strap does work, but the leather shoulder pad sometimes folds under while hauling the bag up to my shoulder creating an annoying pressure point. Next time, I would forego the leather and try the Klein padded nylon strap for $12...

Good heavy duty strap

I used this to create a custom over the sholder strap fo my saddle scabard for my 357 lever action 1892. works really great. It is rather ugly for a purse or other ladies ware

Good kit but beware rivets

The strap is great, very thick rugged leather that might need some oil/breaking in. Hardware is so-so - the d-rings are nice but as others have said the rivets are very, very flimsy.

Different leather colour shoulder strap than colour on original bag, matching leather strap should be an option at purchase.
