Decent solution for gardening

Thought I would try this out to carry a field notebook, plant tags, pen, plant tag marker, sheathed garden knife, spork (makes a pretty good weeder/cultivator in pots)... I realize that it is not meant for this. At the same time, after many hours looking at various designs this seemed quite good. First, I wish the leather side pockets were deeper and a little wider. I was hoping I might fit my spork &/or Felco-2 pruners &/or garden knife &/or pens in them. None of that works. Second, loop in the front pocket is a little loose for pens. But, it works with a pen clip. Third, the front pocket is good for plant tags. The big pocket holds a field notebook, and because it is somewhat structured it is easy to grab the book. The big pocket is also plenty deep enough to hold the knife. I cut the tape holder off with a dremel (but saved it because I do a bunch of electrical from time to time and figure I can reattach it with a clip.) All-in-all I am happy with the structure and the shape. The main and front pockets are what I had hoped they would be, and I am very happy to have it.

I use this for commercial electrical work and it’s perfect. Depending on the task (Terminating, conduit install, tapcons) I swap out tools and use the front pouch for consumables. It’s been about a year of heavy use and it looks like it will go for another 5. Great product and great craftsmanship, will buy again.

I used to have a Husky electrician pouches. It was a bit big and bulky so I decided to go with this one. Fits all may hand tools I use most. It has a small pouch on the front I use for staples, cable knife on one side, markers on the other and scissors in the small front holder. What's cool is it fits right in my bag too. Hand tools stay in there while my specialty stuff stay in my tool bag. Also have room left over for my drill and klein bags. Small and compact. Easy on my back too.

Limited utility knife pouch

Useful, however my complaint is a common one from other users, the utility knife "pouch" is limited to the smallest knives. Hope the manufacturer updates the design, would have given a 5 ***** otherwise.

Great quality but way too big

Its great quality and very sturdy, but the back pouch is way too big for standard use. If it was half the size and the front pouch was slightly bigger, it would be perfect.
