Very nice

We used these to replace the original Kohler faucets in the master bedroom shower of our 1960s house. We had a plumber install them so I can not speak to the installation difficulty. They work really well. No washers to replace and, so far, no drips, and they mimic the look of the original 1960s handles. Recommended.

Absolutely there is no better than this....

I like the fancy look, the good quality of the chrome and also I loved because it came with the adapter to pair with the size of the cartridge.

Excellent Product

I had a very difficult time finding a product that would cover the holes for the mixing valve in my 80 year old house. This was incredibly easy to install and looks great. Sometimes you just have to pay the high price to finish the project properly.

Nice looking and heavy weight so they should last.

They are nice and heavy metal and feel good. I bought them to fit the Kohler valve assembly. 1/4 turn on the valve and these handles are easy to install. Just wish there was a hot/cold identification on them. There was a red and blue washer included but it was for a security screw application. Doubt if anyone will come into my bathroom to steal my shower handles.

Worked like a charm

Had no issue with installing these and they fit perfectly and snug against the wall. Saw some reviews that you can't show hot or cold, but there are adapters in the box (blue/red) to let you designate which is which. Wife loves them. Happy wife, happy life.

Return within 30 days (!) Does not fit older trims- beware

Avoid my mistake! If you have an old shower, note that this is unlikely to fit. It does not have a thread- it is completely smooth. Knowing that it is unlikely to fit, the return policy is restrictive. By the time we were able to have our handyman install it, it was too late to return. We got used to the 90 days return and did not realize we missed the window. It was an expensive mistake. Even if it had fit, it is a poor value for the money. It does not look better than any cheap alternative. Disappointing product all around. We ended up hiring a professional plumber, who has access to professional equipment.

Very solid.

Solid and nice looking. My only issue is the contractor didn't reverse one of the knobs so it turns on in the clockwise direction instead of counter clockwise. I'm hoping this is easy to change. Why do they make these knobs so that you have to reverse one of them? Weird.

Disappointing finish.

Although they appear well made and certainly do the job, the quality of the finish on the pair I received is not up to Kohler's usual standard. While the 'front' edges of the handles are rounded and well plated, the back edges are sharp and do not feel 'nice' to the touch. The rear edges should be rounded to match the front.
