Let their imaginations run free.

This is a great gift that does not require batteries, has flashing lights or any technology. Just good old fashion imagination, wonder and fun. It is something that I probably wouldn't allow anyone under the age of 12 to do unsupervised. You will never get experiments to live up to the photos on the box, but creates a lot of fun regardless. Great gift idea!

My son had fun with it, but I think the packets of ingredients would be better in ziplock bags to store for next use. Not a huge deal, just a suggestion!

We Made Slime and Loved it

This was a super cool activity to introduce your kids into science and get them out of the TV. great exposure to learning science terminology at a basic level. They kit comes with everything you need, labels on everything outlining all the materials. It's really creative and hands on. Perfect for kids who love making potions and things like that. We made green slime and it came out great. My only critique is I wish there would have been more glue so we could make it again, if we wanted to. Also, it says six and up, however some of the intermediate activities will require a parents help.

Fun kit with lots of great experiments!

This is a great set! Everything is included (even the oil and baking soda) and everything is in little bottles/packages that are clearly labeled and resealable. Has good basic experiments but also more challenging and unique ones like the bouncing ball slime and squishy crystals. The mixing tubes and containers all have lids which are great for my child who likes to save and admire her creations. The wand stirring sticks were a great touch. Instructions were clear, my 8 and 11 year old were able to do them all on their own and it kept them busy through winter break. I would buy again!

Mostly great with one problem

We have done almost all of the experiments so far, and my son has loved them. The instructions are easy to follow and are pretty quick to do. However, we ran into our first problem last night with thr "red cabbage powder" and paper experiment. Absolutely nothing happened after we dried the cabbage powder onto the paper, then poured the pipette mixtures onto the paper (picture included). I think something was wrong with the red cabbage powder as it was clumped together instead of powdery. Needless to say, it was disappointing after prepping the paper and waiting for it to to dry. We would greatly appreciate if the company would send us a new red cabbage powder.

What a waste of money

It was a gift for my niece, none of the experiments worked, it was so sad and disappointing. Definitely don’t recommend.
