Loved it While it Lasted
This bowl was great for the six whole months that I was able to use it on my daily dog walks. I didn't necessarily use it daily in the sense that I opened it and collapsed it again. Merely, I carried it with me daily and when I thought my dogs were in need of a drink, then I would open it and fill it partially with water so that my dogs could drink if necessary. Unlike the fabric water bowl I purchased previously, THIS bowl was actually 100% leakproof. The only water that ended up outside of the bowl was due to overspray from my pup's lapping tongue. For ease of carrying, I attached a strap with a bolt snap to the end through the hole on the edge. I cut off the end of a retractable dog leash which I wasn't using any longer and looped it through and used a safety pin to fasten it back to itself. If I had been thinking ahead I would have bought a bolt snap swivel clip and a piece of webbing and heavy duty snaps to attach everything together. But I had to make do with what I had around the house. I was able to clip the bowl easily onto a belt loop or a loop on my Camelbak and unhook it whenever my dogs needed a drink. The size is plenty big for my Lab to shove his full face in and have plenty of room around his muzzle. It's also the perfect size for me to fill up and if he is parched, it holds just enough water for him to be able to drink and drink and drink and not ask for any more when he finishes. Of course, I would have to add more for his sister. There's not quite enough room for them both to drink at the same time from the bowl though, they have to be patient. It's approximately 7 inches across and 3 1/2 - 4 inches tall and seems to be made out of some sort of silicone. Unfortunately, the other day the bowl split right along one of the seams. It figures that this would happen right as the weather is starting to get much hotter too! I tried using duct tape to cover the split but the tape wouldn't adhere to the silicone. I guess I'd have to try a silicone glue, but I'm not sure how that would work when the seam is continually flexing. Perhaps a rubberized electrical tape might work better. On a not completely related note, I thought I might share something I've been doing in my neighborhood ever since I noticed a couple of other people doing it in the Summer. Maybe the word will spread and eventually it will be a widespread habit and tradition. I am keeping an extra water bowl out near the curb for other dog owners, and even the wildlife, this Summer so that there will be less of a chance of heat exhaustion from parched pets. I know so many people don't even realize how quickly and easily their pets can overheat. We as humans sweat but our pets cannot, which is why they pant. They cannot deal with the same temperatures we can, especially not without hydration. They might seem to be able to, but they need shade, rest, water and depending on the breed they might need overall cooler temperatures than us.

Made mistake and left out; dog thought it was a toy.
Great little collapsible water dish for hiking & traveling with the dog. Had to buy 2. Before dog trained to know it was water dish, he found it on bench and chewed it up. My bad…only had one hike in with it…

Great little water bowl
This little water bowl is great to take on walks and hikes. During the summer months I used this daily. I still give it 5 stars, though after 2 years of hard daily use a small hole formed in one if the corners. I will be buying another.

Used daily, breaks about after 6 months -1 year of use
I hike dogs professionally, and I usually have one of these bowls attatched to the outside of my hiking pack. I love the large size, how easy they are to fill and the dogs seem to love drinking out of them. For the smaller dogs it's easy to collapse the bowl half way so it's not too tall. However the silicone tends to rip where the carabiner attaches. For most uses this will be sturdy enough, but if for daily use where the bowl will hang via a carabiner, expect it to last around 6 months. Ultimately I have decided to change to another style of portable dog bowl since I can't justify having to continue to replace them. Edit: my second one tore suddenly along on the the seams where the bowl bends to collapse. That kind of failure point seemed so bizarre and I’m just done replacing these. I ended up buying the trail runner bowl from Ruffware to replace it in hopes that’s its more durable.

If your pup is scared of the food bowl, this is the fix!
We have a little 30 pound English Setter who is scared of his food bowl, believe it or not. We tried plastic bowls, and ceramic bowls, and glass bowls, and the instant the food made a noise on the bowl, he would jump back in fear and stop eating. This went on for about a year till one day I found one of these bowls in a PetCo and gave it a try. It works like a charm. I ordered a couple more from Amazon and now we also use one in the camper and one as a water bowl. A bit small for a water bowl, but we also have a large stainless steel one that our other dogs use. The little setter uses the silicon one. We’ve been using these bowls for about five years now and they’re still like new. If the food bowl gives your pup the fear, give this a try.

Great idea!
REVIEW DONE BY A REAL HUMAN CUSTOMER. I have a Yorkie and we walk a lot. I have the Petkit water system and it’s great. But at times I need something for my dog when we’re in the car not only to drink but eat. It’s very compact and easy to carry. I have no complaints and I recommend this product.

In a word, Nondurable
We used this as a hiking water bowl for the dog. After a few months of use, it fell apart. Update: EXCELLENT customer service! I called the company, the first person that answered the call, Thomas J, took care of everything. He was very apologetic, understanding, and capable of handling the situation. I emailed a photo while on the phone and they are sending out a new bowl. I will definitely order from this company in the future. I received a defective bowl and they stood behind it 100%. I can't ask for more than that, so in the end I would give them 5 stars.

Great Bowl
This is a great travel bowl for hiking, car rides, and going to the park. It holds a good amount of water and is very sturdy. I will leave it on the floor of my car when we are driving home and it has never spilled. The orange color makes it easy to find, and it easily slips into backpacks and bags when collapsed. A breeze to clean, too. My reason for giving it 4 starts is sometimes it can be hard to collapse, which can be irritating when stopped on the side of a trail and trying to quickly put it back away. But, not anything that would deter me from buying it again. Another thing, my 2 year old GSD who is frisbee obsessed, thinks it's a frisbee when its flat and will quickly snatch it away if I'm not paying attention. No fault of the bowl, just something to keep in mind!
