One side of the doorknob. ????????‍♀️ works great if you want to replace one side.

Not much to say about doorknobs, but this one is fine. It is one side. That is what you need to know. One side of the door. The other doorknob, because you usually need two, is not in THIS package. But this is a nice solid product.

Good quality, but a bit hard to install

I bought 14 of these dummy door knobs to replace some aging ones in a house I'm selling. They are replacing knobs of the same model, but over 20 years old and bright gold. The fit is good as I can use the same screw holes as before, but the screws are somewhat longer. That's fine for closet doors where there's only a knob on one side. But I also have some French doors with dummy knobs on both sides. The longer screws are problematic as the screws from knobs on either side of the door reach each other. I'm having to go buy shorter screws to install these.

It is as advertised - Great Quality Fit and Finish

The dummy knob is as advertised, it screws into a door - it is not meant to twist but to either give the look of a door knob, or just to grab and pull or push on to open/close a door. As this comes as a unit of one, if you have a pantry door with no need to have a knob on the other side it will do this well - if you have a door that needs to have a knob (that does not twist) on both sides you will need to order two of these. I have a set of french doors with glass panes in the middle of each, one side has a twist knob and lock, the other is just a dummy knob - knobs on both sides. I was 'de-golding' my older home where everything came with the gold tone or brass fixtures, I have been updating and remodeling and using different types of finish in parts of the home but the satin or brushed nickle look overall. These are perfect fit to put back into the holes already available from the other removed hardware. Fit and finish is excellent, they attach well, work excellent - pricing is better than the exact same make and model from the local big box stores. I would recommend these to others for use, and would buy again.

Easy install, well-made

Bought several of these to replace existing knobs. My only gripe (and thus no 5 stars) was screwing the two sides together. The size of the knob(s) is such that a screwdriver (even with the thinnest shaft I have) will not go straight in to the screws. I had to angle the screwdriver, which while not a big hassle made it difficult for me to get the screwdriver bit fully and securely seated in the screws. There is no button to push that allows for slipping the knob off its shaft, and popping off an escutcheon plate, to access the screws directly straight, as on the knob sets I removed/replaced; the knob is swaged in place. Nonetheless I recommend this item and would buy it again if/when needed.

Very hard to install

I am a skilled handy man, have replaced and added to new doors many doorknobs. If you are adding this to a new door it is near impossible. The screws are long and very dull, so even though the instructions say no drill is needed, these will never go in undrilled. Further, having it where you put the screws most of the way in and then twist the knob onto it is something the industry has been doing for decades to alleviate the problem with the knob getting in the way. Even kwickset does this, but sadly not here where it would have been most helpful.

Looks beautiful but very difficult to install the provided mounting screws without stripping them

Large knob looks nicer than the smaller brass knob I replaced, but makes it very hard to install the long screws provided. These functions more as handles you grab rather than knobs you turn, so the larger size isn't really necessary. The oblique angle you have to set your screw-driver to mount the screws makes it very easily to strip the supplied 1"-plus screws. It did that to mine and had to replace them with 3/4" long screws which fitted nicely into the holes fro the original brass knob I was replacing. I think oval knobs may work better if the screws holes are situated along the narrower sides of the knob. The ones I could find on Amazon cost significantly more!

This model knob is what I have installed throughout the house… but this particular kind that is for closets- please, come up with a better screw that won’t get torn up because of the near impossible angle that the screw driver/drill needs to be at to even attempt to screw this into a door. The screws tore up and I had to use different ones from a mismatched brass knob.
