five stars with a better belt
I’d give these five stars with a better belt. Half-round “buckle” does not work as well as square ( I have both). Belt width is a tad on the small size, for looks, but mostly to work with the buckle. Otherwise perfect for summer wear… or under overalls year-round for layered indoor/outdoor approach. Nice look, good color, not too thick to be comfortable, but don’t fray/wear out too quickly. I have several pairs of varying age and these are my go-to cargo shorts. Nice enough to wear around town as well as around the house for work.

Nice Shorts With Issues
These are pretty nice heavy weight shorts and should hold up well over time. Two issues caused my 4-star rating instead of 5: 1) Supposed to be 11 inch inseam but actually barely 10.5 inches. 2) I pretty much hate velcro so I removed it right away. Somebody please give me cargo shorts with snaps or buttons! I would gladly pay a little more!

Great Fit til I lost weight
These fit very well and were extremely comfortable shorts... for half a month. Then I had lost enough weight to be able to go down a pants size. That said, the fact these shorts come with an adjustable belt makes them part of my wardrobe still as it's less expensive to use these than it is to go out and buy a new pair of shorts that I might slim out of in two or three months. Can definitely recommend these.

So far so good!
I'm a heavier set guy, The shorts fit great and seem to have good quality. I'll have to see how they handle the washing machine but otherwise they are what I had hoped for.
