It’s okay for an educational toy- too expensive for what it is

I just feel like this toy is too expensive for the quality but it IS a great toy for fine motor skills so I’d still say it’s worth it because good luck trying to find toys of educational quality for less than this price, and at Walmart or other big stores (you probably won’t). It’s cute and colorful. I assume my daughter will like it, it’s going in her Easter basket (she’s 15 months old) and is made of sturdy plastic. Not as big as I thought it’d be and has wonky eyes lol

This is a great size! My kid loves this. it says for 18month+ but my 14 month old liked this & knew how to play with it after showing him what to do. Recommend!

My son LOVES this

Seen it on songs for littles and had to have it! My son just turned 15 months and figured it out instantly! Definitely a fantastic fine motor toy and i love that it has holes on top & bottom of the pegs so they aren’t a huge choking hazard.

Cute toy

This is a cute toy for motor skills. The 15-24 month kiddos love it. Im giving it 4 stars because his back pops off when the younger ones try to remove the quills They can not get it back on and causes frustration. I will most likely be gluing his back down.

Great to improve basic motor skills

This is a great toy to improve your childs motor skills. Although it states 18m+, I think you can use it from 12m+, make sure your child is supervised thought as the pines can be a choking hazard if your child decides to put the whole thing in their mouth!. My son loves this toy now and has done so since he was 18+, he loves to stick the pines in all over the place and take them out and re-arrange them. sometimes placing them in colour coordination. Although the hedgehog has number the pines dont, it would have been even better if the pines had numbers on them as it would have helped with number learning and matching as well. You can open the back of the hedgehog to places all the pines inside, so it can be tidied away nearly. I have not be honest though, I dont think this is worth the price tag of £16.99, I would expect a toy to have a few more functionality for this price. But the toy itself is great for the age range. I can vouch this is also Chew Proof!! My son is a vicious chewer and this toy has stood the test of time.

Great for babies and toddlers

I got this as a present for my 1 year old who really enjoys removing and replacing lids. The shape of the spikes are great for little hands and very nice colors to encourage engagement. I would say that if the spikes were to be put in a kid's (or a four-legged pal) mouth they would get wrecked as the plastic is quite soft. The spikes store inside of the hedgehog so that's great for keeping them all together. Super cute toy that I would be definitely gift to another baby/toddler in my life.

Engaging and fun

My 22 month old is having great fun with this. She doesn't find it particularly challenging, so maybe more suitable for a slightly younger child, but really enjoys sticking all the spines in and pulling them out. Also good for talking about colours.
