Works awesome in the field.

I recommend this brand of crimpers to anyone just starting or has been in the HVAC trade. These crimpers are not heavy but do the job. I’ve has no issues with them on any job site Ive been on. I plan on buying my fiancé these exact ones for Christmas.

These were a life saver!

We were redoing the black stove pipe for our coal stove. These were a life saver and we couldn't have finished the job without them! I highly recommend!!

Not enough leverage.

I've been a union sheet metal worker for 33 years and used about every type and brand of crimper out there. I bought these to give them a try since they say they are rated for 18ga sheet metal, NOPE not going to happen. On the first day with them on the job I grabbed a 22ga fitting and went to crimp it and they just don't have the leverage of the Malco's. The grips on these are very firm like a plastic rather than a rubbery feel like a set of snips have also. I handed them to a co-worker to try and he wasn't impressed either. I walked to the edge of the building and gave them a fling into the dumpster and will be getting a set of Malco's. 24ga or flue pipe maybe but that's about it.
