Solid water bottle

Honest and true review here. LifeFactory is one of the best. I love they are made in the USA. Glass is far superior to plastic and even stainless steel (SS) for so many reasons. After a horrible realization regarding my daughter's stainless steel (and not cheap!) water bottle containing a lead sealing dot on the bottom, I decided rather than going with SS, to pay for a quality glass bottle. I tend to over research, and fell upon LifeFactory. Thankfully they had a sale and I actually paid less for this bottle than for the poison containing SS bottle I previously bought for her. Was very pleased with the quality upon opening. I chose the screw cap because the reviews on the flip top were not great, and in my experience flip top types of caps almost always eventually leak. So why only 4 stars for this?? The 22 oz is huge and quite heavy for a child and doesn't fit easily in her water bottle pouch on her lunch box. The silicone also made it tricky to get it in/out. I may consider a smaller one for her lunch box. I'd actually prefer to purchase directly from the Lifefactory website, but with a better deal here, and free shipping and returns, it is hard not to go this route. Good news is this was a legit Lifefactory bottle. Pay attention to the seller, friends. Bottom line is I would buy again, with awareness of size for who/what is using the bottle. **(Sidebar, not all stainless is bad, just do your research and don't go cheap quality--and more expensive doesn't always equal higher quality . 2 of the best are KleanKanteen and Yeti, likely LifeFactory also makes a SS--but I'm only familar with their glass. Just make sure you don't buy a knockoff of these brands--commonplace on amazon, don't be fooled. KleanKanteen has great customer service and sent me their lab results, so that goes a long way with me and will always be my primary choice for anything SS).

Great made in the USA bottle

I love these water bottles. We have purchased a half dozen over the years. We use them for children and adults and the only one that ever broke was a full one we forgot in the car and it froze solid. The expanding water broke it. The protective sleeve protects them against minor bumps and jostles. Make sure you screw the lids on tight. I love that the seals are removable for cleaning/replacement if necessary. We’ve had ours for years and have never needed to replace any parts. These are great water bottles you can feel safe using.

This is my third water bottle from Lifefactory. I love this bottle. The design is practical, ascetically pleasing, and eco-friendly. I love the color. This water bottle is large enough to hold almost three 8 once glasses. It saves me money by not having to buy water. It saves the planet because it's glass and reusable. It's easy to clean and it fits my car cupholders. I have dropped it a couple of times and the silicone cover has prevented it from shattering or cracking. I also like the screw off lid over the straw lid which tends to leak. If you're looking for a quality water bottle, this one is worth it.

Love the bottle but returned due to flaws

The bottle leaks water from the lid. It was screwed on properly. The seal was in place. It still leaked. I gave this an overall "3" because the company was nice enough to send me out a couple of new lids to try. I never tried them, because I noticed another issue while waiting for them. When you wash the lid, in order for water not to remain between the seal and the lid, you have to remove the seal (otherwise bacteria / mold / etc can form), Getting the seal back in place, was a significant effort because when you get one side on the track, and pull the seal to the other side, the seal flips to the side, and I could not get it to lay flat. I gave up. I do not want to go through this much trouble to wash a bottle. The company was very helpful and I love the design of the bottle. The glass could be lighter, but I would not have returned them because of that.

TOO SMALL! And lid retains water.

I'll always pay EXTRA for a quality product made in the USA. 99% of the bottles I've seen online were either made in china, or out of plastic. Even "BPA Free" plastic isn't as safe, or reliable as they make it out to be. So I settled on this LifeFactory bottle. America's Test Kitchen rated it highly, and it checked all my boxes (glass & made in USA). Unfortunately, it's way too small. 22oz is fine for short outings, or if you're a bird... But if you're going to the gym, taking a class, or out in the summer, you are going to go through 22oz real quick, and be disappointed your bottle was so small. Other than the minuscule volume of this bottle, the lid retains water, so whenever you unscrew the top to take a drink, water will inevitably drip from both the lid & bottle lip. And finally, this bottle absorbs heat surprisingly quickly. Driving around with it in my car, the bottle would get incredibly hot if it was in the sun. And the one time I took it into the sauna, the silicone lining inside the bottle felt like it was going to melt. To Lifefactory's credit, the bottle is tough, never melted, and has survived a few bumps & bruises. It's a well made bottle, and I can overlook all the small issues, but at the end of the day, I just want to stay hydrated, and 22oz isn't enough.

Short lifespan

I was super excited to get this glass water bottle. Water does tasted better in glass and is very easy to clean. I love their baby bottles and my kid have one for over 5 years now! But this water bottle last me 3 days after falling from the seat of a park bench. I was surprised to see it broke so easily since our baby bottle have fall many times with no damage and it wasn’t that high. Probably the weight of the water make it much easier to break in comparison to smaller bottles. So I recommend it if you don’t have kids and have a passive lifestyle were the bottle is treated with mindfulness at all times.

My favourite water bottle

Love LifeFactory bottles! I had the previous model and this one is a little different, but equally great! Love the glass bottle that doesn't give bad taste to water, the rubber protects it well and makes it easy to handle, it's sturdy too and has the perfect capacity. Love the colors too! The sea green one really is a light turquoise, even if it appeared light blue to me on the picture. My only complain is that the company doesn't seem to have retailers in Canada anymore and doesn't ship to Canada, but well, thanks Amazon to allow me to find this product again!

Sustainability at its best with the bottle!

I love this bottle and I haven’t dropped it yet! It’s a 600ml bottle which I refill about 3-4 times a day! It doesn’t haven’t the plastic or metal after taste like my previous bottles! It’s dishwasher proof even with the rubber surrounding on! I take it pretty much everywhere and can’t wait for the gyms to open as obviously I will be using it there!! And at the same time helping the environment!! Thank you xx
