Not very weather resistant

Been buying london fog jackets for my son for the past 3 years in a row. We live in the Seattle area so we have more rain than anything, with very temperate weather All of thier jackets have been great! All have been very water resistant, not to thick so he can wear a sweatshirt underneath and stay dry and warm. This one was heavier so I expected it to be better for school. However it is not very water resistant, it soaks up water like a sponge. Every day we have to hang it up to dry after school. It is thicker than the others we have purchased but not great for for wet weather

Buy it!

The jacket far exceeded my expectations based on the price. I was a little skeptical bc of the price but thought, what the heck it is Amazon and I can return it if I need to. The true test will be when we are in Montana in the coming weeks.

Warm coat

This coat is warm enough to wear for a Midwest winter. It looks as described, hood is detachable. I ordered a size7 for my 6yr old and a 5/6 for my 5yr old. Fits great with room for layers

Comfy and Stylish

I love the look of this coat. It's comfy and stylish. I purposely purchased this coat a little big, so my little one can have it a bit longer

Nice coat, bad sewing

Overall nice coat. Ours has a sewing defect, this the reason for 2 stars. The left sleeve lining fabric was sewed twisted so that when you put your arm in, it makes it hard to get it all the in without untwisting the fabric. A bit of a challenge for a 5 yr old to do on his own. You can’t untwist it prior to putting it on, we’ve tried that. We would have to have the sleeve redeem, just not worth it (time/cost) A bit disappointed since we’ve purchased this brand for our last 3 kid coats.
