Different

These gloves are very different. If you are working in the cold, these are NOT the gloves for you. For some reason, these gloves will freeze you hands off in the cold. I'm not sure about the performance when it comes to protecting my hands from being cut because fortunately , I did not cut myself while I was cutting carpet squares. I did not want to just take my utility knife to them because I didn't want to potentially ruin them on purpose. I will update at a later time if I have a slip up and mistakenly cut myself or the glove.

If they only had longer fingers.

I ordered the size 10 glove, which was the largest I saw offered. The fingers were about a half inch to short. I wish gloves stated the finger length not the circumference of the hand. I probably do have longer than average fingers, but gloves that don't fit make working with them on difficult. The quality is very good and I am sure they will protect my hands while sharpening tools or knives. After wearing these a while the fit is really a problem for me because the thumb is way to short. My thumb is about 3 inches long and the glove is only 2 1/4 inches. Otherwise I like the glove and would recommend them.

Hold up, well—a bit uncomfortable.

I have use these for a couple of days out in the shop, and they protected my hands perfectly without any rips or tears. The rubber is fairly flexible, and the knit band around my wrist fit nicely, as did the glove size. The only issue I have with them, and it’s not a huge one, is that they are somewhat uncomfortable to wear. They are just thick enough to bulge up in your palms and fingers when you try to do work that requires anything like fine motor skills. I am hoping that they might feel better once they are broken in more, but I doubt it. I suspect that since they are mostly made of rubber that really won’t happen.

Very resilient work gloves

I am pretty tough on work gloves, and these are holding up quite will. They are very durable and comfortable, but they do not breathe very well, so I imagine they would get very warm in the summer months. It is January right now, and the are keeping my hands nice and warm.

High quality, durable gloves

These gloves claim to be coated by an HPPE shell, and although I'm unfamiliar with that it is certainly durable. These gloves provide warmth as well, which come especially useful now during the winter. They're quite thick and offer lots of mobility. In my case, however, I bought one size off and it is just a tad tight. Getting another size up would make the fit too loose I believe, so I'm not going to make the switch. Overall, I recommend these gloves.

Very grippy nonslip work gloves for tools, small items, handles, etc.

These are ultra textured gloves, non slip for holding tools, small items, gripping handles, etc. Not insulated to these won't work in cold weather without a liner inside, although the material itself does retain body heat. A pretty good fit - these in size L fit my husband's hands well. Good for working on vehicles or holding equipment especially in warmer weather - eliminates the slip factor when hands get sweaty.

Sturdy

I am a woman with average-sized hands, and the size small fit me well. Because of the nature of the gloves, they are thick and sturdy. I'm sure it's not what they're designed for, but I picked these up to use for cutting and clearing blackberry bushes. They don't say they're puncture-resistant, but they worked well for me for that purpose. I would recommend them.

Sturdy but stiff at first

I use these for working outside with construction materials such as brick, pipe, fencing; also for moving wood and some heavy gardening waste such as tree limbs. I find that these do provide good hand protection against nicks and scrapes. These did not tear at all. They are slightly uncomfortable to wear and stiff across the back and edges of my hand. I expect that these will break-in and maybe soften up in time, but I will have to wait and see. If the fit does improve with time, I may buy a few more pairs. At the currently listed price, these are inexpensive. I wear a size XL glove and ordered these in XL; the finger length was perfect. Overall I’m satisfied with these and will continue to use them.
