Disappointed. Broken Zipper and Hook. Not Ready to Wear. But it Work Out Beautifully!

I was so excited about this dress, but when it arrived, I was disappointed and had to make a few alterations. I was ready to send it back because the zipper was stuck and the clasp in the back was missing. With no other alternatives at such short notice, a few stitches here and there, a heavy steaming. I was happy. This dress is stunning! I am 5'11 and 6'2 in heels the length was perfect. Unfortunately, there was so much commotion at my event I didn't get any post-worthy photos.

This dress will draw all eyes on you!

I’m an inverted triangle, so finding a dress in which I can look good and feel comfortable is always a challenge. The skirt on this dress looks like a simple high-low design, but it has so much more fabric than it seems, creating a nice volume that doesn’t look bulky. Also, IT HAS POCKETS!!! The design on the top is just the right amount of sexy, my only issue was that the v-neck would “open up” a bit and show more chest than I was comfortable, but nothing a safety pin couldn’t fix. The ruffles on the back of the shoulders are nice and stiff, meaning the stay up no matter how much you move or dance. I noticed the fabric stretches a bit, it’s soft, and soooo comfortable.

Dress is made for small breast. The back is out so no bra. I love the color and fit. Unfortunately it arrived very very wrinkled.

Love it, very good quality, I could have easily ordered a smaller size, but the one I did was also great. Very flattering on every body type (I'm plus size). Highly recommended.

Beautiful dresss

Excellent quality and craftsmanship.. It's a lot of dress but very pretty. I can not wait to wear it. I will have to alter it becuase it fits too big around the neck, causing a deeper gap in the breast area. Otherwise, beautiful dress.

Beautiful but too much material

This is a gorgeous dress. I was super excited to get it. When it arrived I was shocked at how heavy the package was. It’s a lot of weight. I tried it on and although I measured all my correct sizes accurately, I ordered a small and it was still too big. There is at least 3” too much in the waist. It felt like I was wearing 10 pounds of material. Since it’s open backed and flutter sleeves, you need to wear this in the summer, but my god, you would roast in all that heavy fabric. I would love to keep it but would rather spend the money on something I could wear. Sorry Making The Cut.. this one is coming back.

Absolutely stunning!

This dress is absolutely beautiful. The fit is perfect. I'm a size 2-4 and I purchased the small. The dress is a bit heavy, but the fabric is quality. Very well made. Better than I expected. I purchased a "used" dress at a 50% discount. It appears someone ordered the wrong size and returned it. The dress was never worn. I will purchase this in the pink or black.

Exquisite practical dress! I feel like a happy child again running around in a fairy costume.

Material: I love sateen and sew all of my casual garments out of it, because it is a quality shirting cotton that holds its shape. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this dress is made out of sateen! It is a shirt suiting material that is rigid enough to hold the cool shoulder shape without starch and ironing, but soft enough to flow when you twirl. If you are not savvy on fabrics, imagine a men's button-up shirt material. Design: This is a double full circle skirt, reminiscent of the kind you see in traditional South American cumbia dress. I love twirling in it, and the shoulders look like angel arches in silhouette. It is gorgeous happy dress, and I cannot wait to wear it out. Garden parties, spring daytime dates, Easter picnics, these would all be great places to wear it. Fit: Firstly, this dress is true to tailored sizing, not vanity sizing so TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS and order accordingly. A lot of brands in the USA try to make a size 14 feel like a regular "large," but in reality it is an XL according to true sizing. Value: Overall I am very happy and love this dress. I do think that $200 in general is just out of reach for the average person, HOWEVER, this dress uses every bit of that cost in the labor to make something like this. The ruffles look amazing, the amount of material you get in this double-full skirt was much more than I expected. The ruffles are double-faced, so that alone in material eats up a lot of the cost of that price-point. The pricing is more than fair for the quality you get. Remember that this is a quality piece, not fast-fashion. Final thoughts: This dress is lovely, and I am a happy buyer. I had no idea who Sienna was before Making the Cut, and now I am hooked. Thank you, Sienna, for making a normal girl like me feel beautiful.

A bit heavy but worth the weight because of the way it’s structured

I really like the fabric despite the slight heaviness of it all. I bought this white dress in a Large size and soon after bought the Magenta colour in the size Medium as I am losing weight. I will enjoy wearing these dresses at Christmas time or any other occasion. The dress has pockets which makes it unique and the collar is a beautiful added touch! Overall this dress is very structural and clean looking ????

The dress is too heavy... is not so beautifully flared as it was in the original series...

It should have been sewn from a different much lighter material... I think the heavy cotton just ruined the desired effect of Sienna... The idea behind the dress is gorgeous, I loved the dress from the moment I had seen it on screen.
