Play Kitchen Must Haves

These little play cans are the perfect addition to the play kitchen pantry. They are durable (despite being cardboard) and the lids are easily removed so they can be filled - for added fun and imaginative play. Once again, Melissa and Doug have come through with a quality product that will be a play room favorite and a great price point.

I bought these for my daughters toy checkout stand. I got them when they were on sale and definitely think they were worth $9. I don’t think I would pay more than that. They get the job done but definitely won’t hold up with rough play.

These are very adorable. I love how you can actually open the lids which is perfect for developing fine motor skills. I added this to my classroom and my toddlers LOVE them!

So cute!

These mini cans are absolutely adorable! Now let me explain, I have it 4 stars in sturdiness and durability, 5 stars as giftable, and 5 stars total. Let’s be real, just as an example, it’s a super thick cardboard, if my dog got to it, I’m sure it would be messed up. Can my child damage this, no. It’s a super cute and I filled them with play foods from the brand “spark” (Walmart sold item) to match the “can”. My son loves to “cook” and he absolutely loves these. When his best friend comes over, they have a blast! Melissa and Doug knew what they were doing when they made their items! I’d definitely buy this again to have more or as a gift!

Sturdy, great little toy for a baby’s kitchen!

Great price and great sturdy little “cans”. My 2 year old knows what’s in most of them. We put our small play food inside of them when we can. She takes the tuna can and says “toona!” She loves removing the lids of things and filling them up. To the people complaining about how they get destroyed in a few days, I can’t understand that, their children must be extremely rough with toys, and with kids like that I don’t imagine anything lasts very long in their house. My child is a only child and plays good with toys. I wouldn’t worry about it breaking.

A Great Addition to the play kitchen!

So far this is a great addition to my Grandchildren's play kitchen. I can see that they could possibly collapse as they are made of cardboard. It would have been great if they had put some fake veggies / fruit inside the cans, so the kids can associate the can with the contents. Will see if they stand up to 3 Grandkids playing with them.
