Good ergonomics and no leaks

I previously used the copper quick connects for my hoses, hose nozzles and pressure washers. These plastic ones surely will not last as long or stand any abuse - don’t throw the garden hose sprayers on the ground. What they work better than the copper ones are that they require much less effort to connect and disconnect. I don’t need to push as hard. No leak so far. I do expect to replace them about once a year. That’s a reasonable trade-off for me given how much easier they are to use.

Outstanding product from a company that's been around many years.

Melnor 65175AMZ 6 Piece Quick Connect Set Connector Bundle, Black, Blue Good price, even better than HD and Lowes. Easy to install, works great, doesn't leak, and the lock feature works very well and keeps the connector from popping off. The rubber washers are pre-installed, just screw it on the end of your hose and screw the 4 connectors into your sprayers and sprinklers. Don't overtighten the connectors as the rubber washers seal very well and you don't want to deform them. Great redesign of a longtime favorite.

Best items for hooking up water. No leaks

Connecting hoses from city water spigot to RV, linking hoses together, hooking up sprayer. Great product. I especially like the Melnor plastic quick connects as they are composed of plastic and do not corrode or build up deposits. And easier to use.

Great connectors, right assortment

These are the best inexpensive hose connectors I have ever used. They connect easily and stop the flow of water when the nozzle is removed. Melnor has added a locking feature to keep the attached nozzle from becoming accidentally disconnected -- this a new feature and MUCH appreciated. One of the best things about this item is that it provides the right assortment of connectors; the quick-connect packages available in stores near me include items that I don't need. This is set of couplings is just right.
