More like Honey Badger snips
These snips should be called honey badger snips because they don't give a f***!!!! If your the kinda guy who enjoys the right tool for the job, you need one of these in your belt. Perfect for spiral seam albeit unnecessary but for KB seams I feel more comfortable using these instead of the unnecessary wear on my offsets. The cut a cleats like butter and only get outclassed by a bandsaw. However they can be more efficient than a bandsaw

Essential
These are a must have. Great for cutting corners of sheet metal plenums/ return drops and any other ductwork that uses Pittsburg bends and snap lock

A nice pair of snips...Even if they might not be the best value
This review is very similar to my review of another tool by the same company. This tool being made in the US drives the price up some. I could have bought a tool from one of their competitors which is assembled in the US from global materials rather than completely manufactured in the US… And it would’ve been maybe five or six dollars cheaper but I’m not really jilted. I don’t mind paying to keep United States workers employed when i can. So I understand that the value is not quite as good as other tools that may be just as good a tool, however I pay the up charge anyway because it was a choice. In this case I subtracted one star because I expected the tool to be a little bit heavier duty handles and when I received it I was a little surprised being a US made tool that it was virtually the same as the competitors tool and not really any heavier duty. Had it been a blind comparison I don’t know if I could’ve told them apart. Had it been a blind comparison I don’t know if I could’ve told them apart. Once I put some more use on it I may find that the jaws are made from better material... And if that’s the case, that’s all that matters since that’s what she bought it for. I just haven’t had a chance to do an enormous amount of cutting with it yet.

Cuts through metal like butter
Well it depends on how thick the metal is. I had a piece piece of steel about 1/2mm thick and it literally felt like cardboard paper stock with scissors. With 1mm steel it was tough, but with a few grunts and a little leverage it cut through cleanly. Best of all no damage to the blade. Still looks new and in good shape. Good old made in the USA steel. *NOTE* for those complaining about your tool having scratches. "REALLY scratches?" but sure... please look up how "drop forging" works. basically super heated metal is hammered repeatedly into a cast mold in order to make it take shape. The process produces very strong steel, but the process involves being hammered repeatedly, and sure it produces less "uniform" looking snips when compared to the average cast pair which will look perfect out of the mold, but you know which pair will last longer.

Not offest
If you want to snip more than an inch, look elsewhere. But if you want to snip something thick, tough, these will crush it. I use it for those odd things I don't want to use my aviation snips on.

Excellent snipping tool
This tool weighs 373 g but it feels very well balanced in the hand. It is 24 cm long and 6 cm wide, so it might not get into tight spaces. The grip is made of very soft rubber and has groves for better hold and is firmly attached to the handles so it won't come off. The tool blades are very thick and straight so they cut metal up to 1.29 mm in thickness with ease and the tips of blades open up to 1.5 cm. The spring is firm so it is easy to operate them. It is very important to wear safety goggles when using this product. Their main selling point is the fact that they are made in the USA so you know you can expect a great quality product, although they cost a little bit more. I haven't had any issues with them so far. Highly recommend.

well made easy to hold
This is a really well made snip. It i made from alloy steel and really feels strong and solid. The handles are easy and comfortable to grasp. I was a loss as to why I would want to cut metal but my husband had a job ready and waiting. The edge pf our shovel had become split and ragged. He simply snipped the bad away until he had a nice even edge. He likes it very muck

Metal cutting tool
I bought this tool thinking it might help me cut precious metals. I have osteoarthritis in my dominant hand. I found them far to heavy & not easily manoeuvrable. Disappointed.
