Great bag for techies!!!

After two years, I still love this bag. The main selling point was its abundance of small pockets. The strap is outstanding, best I've ever used, and I've used laptops since they first came out in black and white. I've probably had 20 bags over 25 years. I had to replace the strap earlier this year, and Mobile Edge was extremely responsive, sending me a strap immediately. The velcro in the back is starting to come unstitched, I will contact them soon to see about that. Great bag! Second bag, 2015: Where's the keychain loop? This is a one-star flaw, where do I put my keys when I get to the airport? I'm anxious to see if they improved the zipper pulls. Still seems to be the only bag on the market with enough pockets for a 21st century technical professional.

Good, except for the zippers

The checkpoint friendly feature works great, saves time and hassle at security, and for that I give 4 stars.As others noted, the big flaw is the zippers.The string pulls come off the zipper way too easily. I have lost any yet, but it is a matter of time. I would much prefer metal zipper pulls. Other than that, the bag is well constructed and comfortable to carry. It's big enough for my laptop and assorted computer gizmos. But not much else. But, that's fine with me.

Solid product

Great briefcase for those of you who travel. Bag is light with a comfortable strap. Going through security is a breeze without the need to remove my laptop. I only have 1 real complaint at that is the zipper. The metal piece that zips and unzips doesn't fully secure the small rope and tab that you pull to easily zip and unzip. So it can come lose

Meets TSA requirements

The bag is pretty expensive and works OK. One must insure that the zippers are zipped up to the top (beneath the tote handles) and your computer/iPad, etc. is in the protective pouches. Otherwise the weight will shift and the zipper will open thus spilling your computer to the ground. I found out the hard way

New case saved my bacon

Perfect! I tore my laptop strap on my existing Mobile Edge case by overloading it. I was not excited to drop another $100 to replace it. The product was a great price, arrived as promised and was the exact product I ordered. Thanks for keeping me out of hot water with my employer and getting me back on track for travel with my new bag. If getting through security was this easy, travel would be more fun - - - -

Build quality not so good anymore

This is easily my favorite laptop case. I use it every day and they hold up well. When the front gets scuffed up a bit and the leather on the handles gets worn I replace it. I was going on my third. Plenty of places to put all the things even a demanding computer consultant such as myself would want. Tools, testers, additional cables and adapters, etc. Unfortunately, the last one I ordered (May, 2018), plus its replacement, both had poorly stitched seams in the top front zippered compartment that were open or just fell apart at the first touch. This was right out of the box. I can understand there being a manufacturing problem, but neither item should have made it past quality control. Unfortunately, I'm now left looking for another laptop case. I should also report that the laptop strap on this bag is not heavy duty and both failed early on. My bag is fairly loaded so I'm not so put off by that and just replace them with a heavy duty strap from Klein Tools, but be forewarned if you load up your case.

Love This Bag

This bag is well built and seems to be very strong. The carrying strap is very comfortable. It has plenty of pockets and places to easily get at your tablet and cell phone as well as places to keep accessories and cables and chargers. The scan fast feature is excellent. Just unzip the case open it and lay it on the TSA scanner and no need to remove the laptop and put it in a separate tray. The bag has a lifetime warranty which also makes it a great buy.

Great Product

This my second ScanFast. This is a great briefcase if you are looking for a solution to not taking your laptop out of a case during the TSA security check at the airport. After the first one was worn out, I looked at other options before buying the second time. I still believe, for the money, this is still the best briefcase of its type available today. Check it out.
