Love this faucet. Looks great functions well. This faucet will reduce water flow but it's more than adequate for bathroom requirements. Easy to install over old designs, someone finally got smart at Moen.

Beautiful & great for people with disabilities.

This faucet looks great. The style is very sleek and modern and the chrome finish is blindingly shiny. This is ideal for a modern bathroom. This faucet is also great if you have impaired hand strength. It's easy to use with one hand with minimal effort. I don't know that the average homeowner will be able to install it, despite the heavily touted redesigned installation. You might want to get a friend with plumbing experience help you out, or call a plumber to begin with.

Easy installation.

We installed this over the weekend without any issues. The enclosed instructions were very user friendly and helpful. The design changed the looks of my bathroom vanity completely, taking it from "90's" to a more contemporary look. I have always admired the quality of Moen products, and I was not disappointed.

Great looking faucet!

I love this Moen One-Handle faucet, and was hoping to try this one, and then convert all the faucets in our master bathroom to the same product/brand/style, especially our tub faucet. This is more low profile and modern than what we have now; I really like the look. I've changed the plumbing out in two other bathrooms, so I thought "No problem, I'll do this one as well". Everything I needed as far as the fixture was included, and I have the tools for installation, so I set aside the time, and got to work. I realized after a short time this wasn't going to be quite as easy an installation as the other faucets. I got a video to help with Moen faucets, thinking surely I'll be able to do it with the aid of a video - it's how I do many of my DIY home projects. Unfortunately, there was a problem because of the length of the shanks, and I realized pretty quickly I needed to order extended shanks from Moen, which I did. Once the shanks arrived, I was good to go. Moen has installation videos, and other info, on their site - which is how I knew I could order the extended shanks. Probably could've gone to the hardware store, but wanted to have the actual part Moen recommends - just to be safe! Anyway, installation went pretty smoothly from there, and this is a beautiful faucet. It looks great in our powder room - which is where I ended up putting it, because I decided to go with Moen's 90 Degree series in our Master. (I love looking at their site!) The faucet works like a charm, and looks great. Highly recommended!

It has the beautiful hand crafted look to it.

Amazingly beautiful in person. The picture doesn't do it any justice. (Not that the picture is ugly) This is somewhat of a lower profile faucet that some others. The build quality is remarkable. It is like forged and then sanded and polished, and then dipped, and polished again; it has that kind of look to it. The finish is spotless. Moen has come up with a really easy method for installation. The challenge of having to work behind the bottom of the sink tub to secure it is greatly alleviated. However depending on your sink installation it is often better to remove the sink basin with the faucet mounted on it, and do you work on a workbench, or plastic collapsible set of stands. So by removing the two water source lines by undoing their coupling, removing the whole top by undoing the few and WAY more accessible top mount screws the whole thing lifts off with super easy access. Make sure you line up the faucet perfectly before reinstalling it. This faucet has an economy water flow level that is increased in its effectiveness by being an aerated system. We don't really need to have excessive amounts of water flowing from our bathroom faucets. I had a waterfall type of faucet in my bathroom and that one between the reduced water flow, and having it spread out across a wider face and no aeration made the whole experience feeling like you wanted to see some more flow. This Moen S8001 is not like that. The opening is not spread out, and the aeration bulks up the flow appearance a bit. This faucet is more like a sculpted work of art than it is a faucet. It has the beautiful hand crafted look to it.

Great replacement for remodels; Great for new baths as well

In my case, this came in at the right time of remodel. I had two handle (with 3 holes) older faucet that I hated everyday while using it. I just replaced my first bathroom faucet with another Moen (Moen 6900 Rizon One-Handle Low-Arc Bathroom Faucet with Drain Assembly, Chrome which is very similar to this one, about 3 months ago, and I loved it. I love this also for the same reasons: 1. Very easy to install; takes about an hour or less for me because I am not a plumber :) The tool to tighten the nut in the bottom of the faucet is very nice and easy to use. 2. The finish is clean; much less water stains on these models compared to my older ones, and are easy to clean as well. 3. Finish is ultra modern, clean lines. 4. Easy to use, having a single control lever for water. Very easy to use even if you have some artho issues with your hand. 5. Aerated water flow, consistent, nice; and water saving too. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking to upgrade their faucets.

Cosmetically Great, Easy to Install

This is a REALLY nice, modern looking, bathroom faucet. This is the second MOEN faucet I've gotten to replace the ones that came with my house (the first was in the kitchen). In typical MOEN fashion, the installation was easy. The most difficult part has nothing to do with them, it has to do with the fact that the previous one had corrosion that fused the bolt on so I had to cut it off. After that, it was mere minutes to get the new one installed. The kit comes with everything you need and instructions to do it yourself. If you feel really uneasy, you can hire a plumber, who will be thrilled at how easy this is.

missing pop up spring and the price is too high

This faucet is beautiful and functions well BUT what was not included in the package was the required pop up spring clip which I had to buy separately. I needed two taps and this part was missing in both packages. The small cost and trouble to purchase new clips was not worth a complaint to the seller. Also the cost is exorbitant but I needed low profile taps to clear the medicine cabinet door.
