Not at all large but decent gauge and not total junk
It doesn't claim to be oversized or even medium and it certainly isn't. It's just barely big enough to cover a 3 gang old work box. Maybe 3/16" overhang all the way around _if that_. Thankfully it's one of the few outlets in that house that has a nice neatly cut hole rather than a blown out mess that looks like it was kicked in, so it works. What I do really like about it is it's a decent gauge steel. Decent, like you don't get a hold of it and think it's chintsy junk that's gonna get deformed as soon as it's installed... It could be thicker in a perfect world. But I am generally hard to please. And I've seen far chintsyier. Well say it's quite satisfactory and not disappointing without actually getting into the realm of thinking, damn that's beefy, I'm actually impressed. But with all the absolute garbage going around I'm ordering more Morris covers for a few 1 gang outlets, because at least they're not garbage.

Can't Go Wrong for the Price
Nice lightly brushed finished. Reasonably hefty. The perimeter and holes have quite sharp edges from the fabrication process so be careful when handling, but this shouldn't be a post-installation concern if the plate is mounted such that the outer edges contact a wall covering surrounding your electrical box. There's a subtlety laser-etched note on the back that cautions you about the sharp edges, but I think there should be a more prominent warning on the packaging that you can see before you handle the item. Given the large number of types of stainless steel with wide ranging properties, most suppliers hide the type of stainless with which a product is fabricated, sometimes leaving you with a mismatch to your application. I like that the supplier is up front that the plate is made from Type 430. Type 430 is magnetic, and has reasonable but not exceptional corrosion resistance, neither of which should be a concern in a typical application. There's a marking on the back says Made in China. Overall, this is a good value.
