It's useful on the BBQ so nothing falls into the coals
It really works great for me. I liked it so well that I bought this as the second one. The meat doesn't fall through nor any veggies. You do need a stainless steel scrubber and some serious elbow grease to get it clean but, it's well worth the time and effort. The first one I bought many years ago and it's still in use.

Make sure to season/oil it well before using
Burgers, onions, peppers, sausages, hotdogs, potato wedges, Pineapple. Worked great and covered about a third of my grilling surface. It warped very slightly but was okay once the whole thing got hot enough. Be sure to use even heat below this thing. Keep it well seasoned/oiled to make clean up easier. If you have a lot of baked on black stuff, just soak the whole thing in vinegar overnight, maybe longer and all the gunk slides right off. It feels hefty and solid. Good weight to it. Very satisfied especially for the price. I plan to use this for camping this summer.

A good product!
We have two of these grill pans and we love them. The save us from having to clean the actual grill (which is a pain!) and they work perfectly for grilling outdoors. The only drawback to them is that you do have to clean the pans. But they are much easier!

Christmas Gift
We bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and her husband. I haven't seen it in action so can't really speak to its sturdiness in performance, thus the 4 stars. However, my daughter did tell me they had enjoyed using it a couple times to grill and are looking forward to using it for camping this summer. I think it was a great gift for them.

This thing is AWESOME ..so far...
So far, this grill topper is awesome! I have only used it a few times so far, but it worked great! I have used it to grill fish and shrimp on WITHOUT sticking and without having to skewer the shrimp!!! It is so much easier to use this than one of those baskets too!! I just sprayed it with a little olive oil, nothing stuck and no soaking required to clean up. In fact, cleaning was a breeze. I just put in the sink and used one of those scrubby sponge things. I imagine at some point it will stain on the side that contacts the grill but who cares about that?? So far, it looks brand new. All I really care about is that it cooks my food with no sticking and no need for those irritating skewers and baskets AND it is easier to clean than the skewers and especially the basket. WHAT could be better?????????? Wish I would have bought one YEARS ago...

Haven't used it yet, but know I'm going to love it!
Purchased this to use on the BBQ when I'm smoking up my famous 3 lb meatloaf. Usually when I smoke a meatloaf I'd use a disposable foil pan that I poked holes in for grease drainage, use once and throw away. With this item I'll get good smoke penetration on the bottom, SIDES, and top of the loaf! And of course, I'll use this for many other things on the grill as well - I like the idea that I'm not tossing things away after one use! This item has a little "lip" on 3 sides, with one side without a lip. Item is not flimsy, it is a strong, well designed grill topper - NO SHARP EDGES. Yeah....this is going to be a well-used item on my grill :) Peace, Love, and BBQ !

Perfect size, food doesn't fall through
This grill topper does just what it's supposed to - keeps food from falling through the grill grates. One grill topper covers half of my 4 burner grill leaving room for other food or a second topper if I owned another. Metal is thick enough that it doesn't warp under high grill heats, and the punch holes are not sharp around the edges as lesser products often are. As with most (uncoated - nonstick is terrible for grilling) grilling tools, don't expect it to wash up back to its new state. Some discoloration and permanently baked on cooking spray will remain, but that adds to the charm of outdoor cooking!! :) Mr Bar B Q also has a grill basket that is super wonderful, and I would highly recommend buying one of those in addition to this topper.
