Hilarious Addition to Your Munchkin Set
Face it, the only reason you will be buying this particular item (or any other Munchkin themed expansion) is to add to your existing basic set. Or possibly because you are compulsive and addicted to collecting things and you just can't stand not having all of something. Either way, you win. This addition is just as humorous as it should be and adds quite a lot of fun to an already incredible game (or collection of games, depending on how compulsive your disorder really is...). For my family, this was actually one of the more fun additions, which is really saying a lot since we pretty much love all of them. So far the only pack we don't use is Fairy Dust. Everything else has been wonderful. This one included. If you are reading this and wondering what Munchkin is, it's worth looking up and reading about. In fact, it's worth buying and playing a few times a week with some of your closest friends (or complete strangers for that matter...they are sure to enjoy it as well). If you are already a fan and looking to add more fun to your family game nights, then you can't go wrong with the "Half Horse, Will Travel" expansion cards. Get it, play it, love it. We do.

Very Good Expansion
As an owner of the previous 6 expansions plus Munckin Classic, I was very surprised at how good this expansion was. Expansion 7 (Cheat with both hands) and Expansion (6 demented dungeons) weren't really that good in my own opinion, but this one really did add back to the core of my munchkin game without adding any weird new rules like the dungeons in 6th. Things I loved about this expansion: It adds 2 new races, putting the total races to 8, counting human (Halfling, Gnome, Orc, Elf, Lizard Guy, Centuar, Dwarf, and Human). It also adds some cool class and race modifiers such as the Elite, Legendary, and Elder. More Steeds and Steed Enhancers and finally just more treasures and door cards that were true to the core of the munchkin game. It interesting new items like fishing ring, night/day rods, reloaded die etc. Things not so good: Surprisingly none for this expansion, I have lot's of complaints about 6 and 7 but this really brought me back to munchkin, hopefully there will be a good munchkin 9 someday.

adds several needed items
This expansion is just what I needed to balance things out. If you have been getting them in number order and have several of the booster packs and assorted promos, then you may have noticed it is harder to find race and class cards at times. This item adds more race cards, class enhancer such as legendary, and steed enchancer cards to help balance out the bloated card pool. It also adds the usual such as new enemies and several items that pertain to the new races in this set. A must buy if you have any of the other expansions from the "core or fantasy" line.

One of the best expansions
This is one of our favourite Munchkin expansions. It comes with many new cards, two new races, and some race and class enhancers... and what it DOESN'T come with are weird new rules and concepts to keep track of. It's very straightforward and easy to seamlessly integrate into your games... unlike the two previous expansions ;) It fits with all of our other favourite expansions, PARTICULARLY Need for Steed, and none of us regret the addition. I'd definitely suggest the Box of Holding, too. We don't play Munchkin with children but from my childless observations, there are a few light innuendos but it is just as child-friendly as any other expansion.

I bought this for my brother-in-law and have played the expansion with him a few times. This is a great expansion pack that goes a long way to evening out the number of monsters in the deck. He has most of the expansions and it often left us feeling as if we couldn't get any monsters making the game progress slow. This expansion evens that out and has some great additions. This might be my favorite expansion and I recommend this highly as an expansion to a great game. Also it has a really cool "reloaded die" game. If you are familiar with the loaded die where you can change a number this lets you change a number again after that which was a neat addition.

A Good Addition to the Munchkin Deck
Overall I enjoy the newest addition to the original Munchkin game. The 2 new races are fun, I'd say not the best races in the game by a long shot. Both of the abilities for both of the races are alright but very circumstantial. A lot of the other additions to the game are actually very fun. There are new race and class modifiers, and enough to fit the size of deck we're currently dealing with. Some of the new creatures are unique and funny. I'm always a fan of the standard Munchkin game (I much prefer it to any of the other Munchkin variants) and this set doesn't disappoint. A good addition to the set, I recommend it if for no other reason, the new "Matching Armor Set"... if you get that in your opening hand, you win.

Funny cards. Good expansion.
This expansion pack is pretty funny, and adds another dimension to the game. Honestly, my family might be a little munchkined-out. The game doesn't really change that much, it just becomes longer and more options become available, as far as expansion packs go, I think this one is a good one, because that's what expansion packs are supposed to do right? Art and humor are the same great muchkin quality. If you like the main game you'll like this pack.

Munchkin to the 8th power
A great additional set to the core game. Great cards that add to the great social game that is munchkin. The cards are some of the best balanced of previous sets. New curse cards and items that had dynamic choices to the outcome of the game. Monsters continue to be hilarious agents of munchkin destructions. The addition of 2 classes is amazing with the start of the Legendary and Elder Munchkins modifiers that add so much joy to playing the game a certain style. Elder Wizard = amazing. New mounts cards are awesome and the addition of Centaurs and Lizard Man races adds new dynamics to the super munchkin and half-breed cards. A must pick up and can be added with any combination of the sets. Works best with the mounts set "Need for Steed" to fully enjoy the centaur race card.

All in all, a good add-on but probably not the first one of the many add ons you should get
I bought this add on a recommendation for the original game, which has been good fun. As per the whole munchkin series the cards are well illustrated, and often quite funny. I feel this pack probably needs to work with number 4 to get the full benefit (to make the Centaur race worth it) but then the deck starts to get massive. Each deck adds some new mechanics which requires a game or two to get used to the way it affects the game. The Elite, Legendary and Eldar mechanics can feel a little bit overpowered in certain circumstances but certainly add new ways to win/lose the game. All in all, a good add-on but probably not the first one of the many add ons you should get. (2 or 4 IMO)

Great addition with munchkin4
Bought with munchkin 4 (need for steed) and they work great together. The centaur race allows you to keep any number of steed so it's helpful to have lots of steeds. We now have the munchkin delux and two expansions and I reckon that will keep us going, without being too much!
