Just installed 3 of these. They look really good. Very solid, heavy hinge. I just installed 3 on an outside door here in Florida, where metal goes to die. All hinges I've used here, including chrome plated and brass-plated, looked like hell after a couple of years. My previous hinges were radius-ed, so I had to chisel slightly to accommodate the squared corners; still, a quick job to replace 1 at a time, even with the chiseling. These pass the iron-content test. I held a stack of rare earth magnets to the hinge AND the screws, and there was no attraction. This mean no iron, and no rust. Trust but verify :) These seem like a good price (couldn't find a better deal for true SS hinges of this size). I guess I'll buy 15 more to finish the doors on my back patio. [edit] well crap. I just tested again with the magnet and there is iron in the pins. Dammit. Well, they are on order, I think I'll let it go and hope for as much time as possible. "These products will not corrode or rust when exposed to the weather." in the description. Some stainless is slightly magnetic, but if there's enough chromium it will still form an oxide layer and protect the metal. We'll see. Supposedly, the pin is removable, I hope I don't need to do that in the future. If I do, I'll absolutely be updating this!

Exact fit

These 4" hinges were an exact fit for the old rusting ones. Being 100% polished stainless steel they will last a lifetime.

What's not to like about stainless steel door hinges, seem strong enough to hold up a very heavy door and will outlast even brass. When you live at the ocean stainless steel hinges are the only way to go. these hinges should last a very long time. Great product!

SS Hinges sized and configured as shown.

I used the hinges on a storage shed at the Oregon Coast. SS materials survive the best in that environment. The hinges were as described and the screw holes configured as shown.
