Good quality, exceptions.

The description says it fits all 3 and 4 inch pipe. It doesn't. I have solid 3 inch MDPE pipe on my property and the ends would not fit. I had to cut an end off and then use silicone sealer caulking to attach it to the pipe I searched through a ton of connectors at a home store but none would work. Be careful of which pipe you use with this.

Excellent design to move the rain water out

I wish they come with holes at the bottom of the catch, to drain the bottom and avoid mosquito breeding. Buyers please drill a few holes about the same diameter as the lid on the top and you will glad you did

Perfect for a small site drain

This fixed a problem with a low spot in our driveway that always flooded. It has been very wet this year so the problem was much worse and needed to be fixed. Dug a trench across the drive, placed a 4" drain pipe and put this drain fixture in a low spot next to the drive. Rainwater is now diverted to the low side of the drive without making a pond. First heavy rain the inlet screen quickly clogged with leaves. That problem was solved by putting a 24" diameter chicken wire fence/cap around the inlet. Leaves are caught by the fence and now mostly just water makes it to the drain. Seems to be working just fine with minimal maintenance of raking leaves away from the fence once in a while.

It does what it's suppose to do. I've redirected water away from the wall by installing this right where it needed to be. Connect a pipe and drain away water to where i wanted it to go.

great product but useless without a cover.grate, no?

Wanted to buy the round six inch grate that goes with this item but because it's an "Add On" Amazon made it almost impossible. Delayed my project for four days while I tried to figure out a way to buy the 2nd half of this item. In the end, after wasting about 6 1/2 hrs. over several days and grinding six months worth of enamel off my teeth, I relented and purchased a bunch of stuff I didn't need just so I could finish my yard project. Thanks for nothing, Amazon Services.
