Not better than TEMO Keyless Chuck Adapter 1/4" HEX SHANK to Conventional or Micro-size Drill bit. I bought BOTH YESTERDAY, and received them today with Amazon Prime 1 day shipping. I am using a 1.05mm Cobalt (not Carbide) drill bit(s) I bought from McMaster-Carr, and let me tell you again, because even though this is #1 Best Selling "IT IS "NOT BETTER" than the Neiko 1/4-Inch Keyless Chuck Conversion for Power Tools. Don't get me wrong, it works very well, and it can hold "tiny" drill bits, but the Neiko 1/4-Inch Keyless Chuck Conversion for Power Tools can hold SMALLER drill bits and and in my honest opinion, the Neiko 1/4-Inch Keyless Chuck Conversion for Power Tools is better quality. They BOTH DO NOT WOBBLE. If you're wobbles or if other people on here that wrote that it wobbles or whatever you want to call it, THEY ARE WRONG. I am drilling 1.05mm (0.04133858") holes (Freehand, no Drill press) into Wear-resistant A2 Tool Steel, Tight-tolerance Rod, 5/64" which is about 0.0781" or 1.9844mm diameter A2 Tool Steel rod for a coil jig I'm making to make very nice coils for RDA's (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers). I gave this 4 Stars because... 01. It DOES NOT WOBBLE. 02. It WORKS with tiny drill bits. (1.05mm). 03. Well made.. kinda.. I gave this 4 stars because it WORKS with tiny drill bits. It also seems that IT WILL WORK with smaller drill bits, but it also seems that the jaws do not meet all the way like the TEMO Keyless Chuck Adaptor 1/4" HEX SHANK can and does. I am using a prick punch I bought from Amazon as well, which is "Starrett 816A Prick Punch, 4" Length, 5/64" Tapered Point Diameter", which as you probably have figured out, that using a "PRICK PUNCH" not a center punch, that it makes my job much easier. The "Heat-resistant Cobalt Steel Jobbers Drill Bit, 1.05mm, 34mm Oal, 9.90mm Drill Depth,135 Deg Point" I'm using that I bought from McMaster-Carr is too large, lol.. go figure.. for the tiny dent the prick punch creates in the tiny 5/64" A2 Tool Steel rod I'm working on. So I just went to Lowes Home Improvement Store tonight and got a IDK.. cant' find the receipt, but it's a scratch scroll for making marking on metal and it also can be used as a center punch. it's quite large, but it's got a nice point on the tip for making that dent the prick punch makes a little broader. I've drilled 3 holes so far, in 3 length of that 5/64" A2 Tool steel, and have not had any WOBBLING or anything like that.. I'm not saying do not buy this, because IT DOES WORK, it's just not as smooth as far as the inner workings on this compaired to the TEMO Keyless Chuck Adapter 1/4" HEX SHANK to Conventional or Micro-size Drill bit. Imho, this is 2nd best and the TEMO Keyless Chuck Adapter 1/4" HEX SHANK to Conventional or Micro-size Drill bit should be the best selling item on Amazon. It's probably Best Selling because it came on Amazon first or something idk.. Thats my review, and I'm sticking to it.

Good Buy For The Money! Handy!

Handy to keep with my Ridgid impact driver so I can make use of my drill bits in another case instead of dragging the drill along too, adding to the bulk of tools necessary for the job or day. Nice chuck! If you're drilling steel and such use the chuck key. But mounted in my impact driver, the driver armature itself provides enough braking to tighten the chuck sufficiently by hand for wood and lite stuff. I wish they would include a little pouch or tether to keep the chuck key and 1/2" drive socket all together rather than separate pieces bouncing around in my tool bag. Particularly the chuck key. Be nice to have a rubber like comes with drills to keep the chuck key handy by being long enough to go around the impact's handle or at least keep it tied to the tool bag handle for easy access. 6" would be long enough. Just my 2¢ worth. Comes in a plastic display like you'd find hanging on the wall/rack at your favorite tool store.

Good value

I have a lot of regular drill bits vs. hex-shank and needed something to use them in my small drill driver. The grip mechanism is a little sticky, but grips the bit nicely. I've had good luck with Neico stuff.

Good until it broke

Was able to extend the hand drill into tight quarters with this attachment. Until the springs that hold the three pincers inside the chuck fell out. Recycled it.

Easy to release, stiff to engage.

Easy to release, good quality, it looks like it will last. Fit perfect in my Bosch screwdriver. 4 stars as its kind of stiff to close it and grip the drill bit.

Arrived broken

I needed a chuck to enable use some small bits in my 1/4” impact driver. Read the reviews on a bunch of them and none were great. Decided on this one as I have a couple of small Neiko hand tools. Item arrived from Amazon pre broken. The shank was snapped off the chuck. Returned it but it raises the issue of the safety of cheap junk tools like this. Imagine you have a bit chucked and you are holding the tool up by your eyes and the shank snaps off at full speed. I always wear safety glasses but it’s possible that the spinning bit could penetrate eye protection with disastrous results. Be careful if you are using one these and are tempted to really push the tool hard, breakage is definitely possible.

This is a bad design EQUIPMENT, it does not work. **** The whole thing fall apart once you put your drill in REVERSE. ** I RETURNED MINE. My dewalt drill chuck stoped working that is why I tried to use this chuck on compact driver and use it as a regular drill, but IT DOES NOT WORK as they are advertising, when drill is on reverse everything comes loose. I ended up buying a new drill from Home Depot much cheaper solution..

I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN

This is a nice little chuck. I some times use very small drill bits for some of my projects 2 or 3 mm (1/16 -3/32) my regular chuck wont hold them. Years ago I bought a chuck for a Dremel tool, a replacement chuck and machined a shank to fit it. I actually used to use it in the 1980s with my old 6v battery operated screw driver which didnt have the torq to drive the screws in so every hole had to be predrilled. I used this old chuck for over 30 years and I came to depend on it for more precision work later on, and now use it mostly on my 20v driver and sometimes in a 1/2" drill press. I was making my grandson a display case for his pocket knives and needed to predrill holes for small brass screws, but I lost the Dremel chuck some where, so I ordered this one which is a bit heavier but also grips the bits much better and fits in the driver much better, the old one, with the home made shank, it wouldnt lock into the driver so would some times it would fall out.. You can change bits in seconds when drilling different size holes or replacing broken or dull bits. Now you should remember this is not for real heavy work. I have used it in my small drill press for some precision work. But mostly use it in my driver and like I said, usually only for very small drill bits, in oak up to 1"thick or lite guage metal. It grips the bits much tighter then the dremel chuck. I have used it for 1/8 bits but only cause I was to lazy the grab my drill. Its well worth the small cost.

Accesorio muy práctico!

Este broquero o Chuck lo compré pensando en esos momentos dónde necesitas hacer un orificio pequeño en madera o metal y resulta engorroso buscar una extensión y conectar tu taladro (cuando no tienes taladro de baterías) para hacer ese tipo de trabajos. Funcionó muy bien con mi destornillador Bosch. En concreto seguramente puede funcionar bien con destornilladores más grandes.
