Dogs love it
This is the 6th one I have bought. I have purchased 3 for friends and 3 for my dog, Molly. I started buying these when they first came out. The dog ball blaster is only getting better. Mine hold up about a year and a half with leaving them on the deck all year long, in the weather. I use the blaster for somewhere between 20 Minutes and 2 hours at least 5 times a week. I am sure the blaster would Last longer if I took it in when not in use. I love it to save my shoulder. My dogs is a border collie and this is her favorite toy.

My Austrian Cattle dog loves it
Last year I rescued 2 Austrian cattle dogs. One boy and one girl. Didn't take long to fall in love with them and adopt. He girl has no interest in play anything , she just wants constant attention. The boy however.... I didn't know how much energy he would have. We played catch 2 hours every afternoon. Then played inside. Before the nerf gun, my arm felt like it was going to fall off. Then I purchased a tether tug, that helped but the Nerf gun is his favorite toy. The only down side is the trigged will get tight after a while and may pinch your finger. I would recommend buying the one with multiple balls because of price. But I purchased 2 nerf guns. It is well worth the price.

Good product for the price
It works great. I bought thr lower price incase my dig didn't like it but he loves it. It saves me from throwing so it a win in my book. Good product, price and style.

Good but not great
The idea is amazing! I have tennis elbow and purchased this to give it a break from the constant playing fetch with my dog. I wish it was a little bit easier to load, it requires a little strength. My bigger wish is that it would shoot the ball farther.

I'm a huge fan of anything Nerf!
I really love anything that fires projectiles and I love nerve products. I am however afflicted with arthritis so after a few minutes it becomes problematic for my hands. The dogs love it but it's more effective indoors than outside because it doesn't fire it very far compared to a hand flinger. But overall it's a great Nerf product!

Great for hyperactive pup, but doesn’t last long…
My MinPin loves these launchers, have had so many of these since she was a puppy, I should have taken some stock options… awesome product, great for play… but.. they don’t last very long, the trigger starts to get hard to pull or just locks up completely, or the launcher band inside will wear out and break… with my pup about 2-3 months is all I get out of one of these… wish one could get these in a more “robust” build to last longer… *update* I did contact customer service, they are very quick on response and helpful…

Had to gift it.
It's freaking awesome!! Saves my arm throwing or winging it as with the slinging stick. Unfortunately, my border collie got aggressive with the gun and didn't even go after the ball. We're his second home and apparently one of the kids at his previous home shot him with the dart version of the gun, so he hates the sound and wants to kill it. Gifted it to a friend with a lab haven't heard how she likes it

good quality ball is included and it is ejected about ...
The media could not be loaded. Well made study toy, good quality ball is included and it is ejected about 10-15m (see video). Pulling the loading mechanism is ok for an adult but my 12 year old daughter struggled a little but still managed. It is quite loud when firing so it if your dog is scared of bangs etc it may take a while for them to get accustomed to it, my two are used to loud noises so were not fussed at all.

Fun for dogs AND humans
This is a fun product. The dogs enjoy it but I can just throw a ball further. It’s more of a gimmick. But when the dogs get bored you can also show off your mad skills by shooting the ball in the air, cocking the gun it while it’s in the air, catching the ball in the barrel then shooting it up in the air again and repeating the pervious steps. My best is 3 times. It fits normal tennis balls obviously so if your mad skills aren’t as mad as mine or if you just have terrible aim when you’re playing with your dog and lose the ball it comes with over a fence you don’t have to worry. You can just use a not so snazzy looking normal tennis ball. (P.s you’re welcome for the mini game idea)

Bit of a gimmick but a useful dog toy for us
Recently got one of these for one of my dogs as he is a little terror bothering my friend that I sometimes walk the dogs with (my other dog weirdly gives zero cares about balls etc. when he is out!). My friend has one of these types of ball guns as she has problems with her shoulder which means she can't use a regular ball-chucker for her very active dog. It's a bit gimmicky to be fair and quite a chunky thing to take out to the park with you. I personally find a standard ball chucker makes the ball go further and my dog enjoys it just as much. However, I have a seven-year-old daughter and she absolutely LOVES using this to play ball with our ball-mad dog in the park, so it's worth it just for that! Also great that all standard size balls fit so you are not limited to buying the Nerf dog tennis balls. As mentioned previously, also useful for those that can't just throw a ball due to any physical limitations. Last note to say it does make a bit of a noise to rachet the 'fire' and when you do shoot it, so more 'nervy' dogs might not get on with it. Another friend of mine bought one but apparently can't use as her dog is scared of it.

Good for a lazy/obese dog?
The firing distance is for a dog who ha's a "yeah a wanna play , I wanna play.....eurgh too far kind of attitude" For a ball blaster, I was expecting it to clear half an average sized field and wind some poor unsuspecting passer-by but nope it is all noise not much distance. Not all bad, the kids had about 5 minutes of fun before they decided potatoes and fruit might be more fun. It is......outside! Not in the blinking house but hey how. Save your self some moolah and grab the one on a stick thing that you can throw around for a quid

Shadrach rates it 11
What a fabulous thing for a man with arthritis and a dog that likes chasing balls! I have to switch hands after a few shots to pull the spring back but that's my joints, it's not hard to do, then it throws a tennis ball over 40 feet. I get a lot of people asking to try it. Others laugh at a 75 year old with a toy, but I don't care. Better still, I can pick up the drippy ball without using my hands, just push the barrel down around it!
