Perfect for my face

I bought this right before a FL beach trip this month. Of course after a long winter, the FL sun can be very intense and concerning. I use this on my face. It doesn’t break me out and has perfect coverage. Twice applied during a 3 hour beach outing, did not burn at all. After a few days of this routine, my face is perfectly bronzed.

Works but makes skin look oily

The previous version of this product was perfect, a 5 out of 5 stars! Goes on with no mess because you never have to get it on your hands. Lasts all day. No sunburn. This new Beach Defense version is the same performance but looks greasy once on my skin. So loses 1 star because of the greasy look.

Works and protects!

I use this for me and my 16M old! So easy to use, not greasy, no skin irritation. We’re both very pale and we applied this 15 min before sun exposure and it truely helped not get sunburnt faces! Now we don’t “lay out” to tab but playing in the park with hats on and running around outside yes this worked, idk how strong people are looking for but for us this deff worked

Great product, no sunburn for the fair skinned!

We usually use the no-ad stick but couldn’t find it. This was a good replacement for my red haired fair skinned husband and he’s really picky on sun screen.

Easy to use

I gave it to my husband to put on his arms when he golfs. That way he doesn’t get his hands full of sunscreen.

Gréât sun protection however leaves quite an oily residue

This product is great for people on the go who want to reapply sunscreen. I was at the beach the other day and used it to reapply and it protected my skin so well! However I will say that it leaves a very oily residue on your skin afterwards that doesn’t go away which is a downside but can easily be fixed by patting it down with a paper towel or spreading out the product on your skin. I bought this product specifically to not have to touch my face with my hands so it is quite a down side … Overall I do recommend it as the packaging is easy to use and it provides great sun protection.

Makes skin very oily

I know it wasn't advertised as a sunscreen that did not have an oily effect on skin but when applied that is the biggest disadvantage in the product. It really protects your skin and application is fairly easy, but it leaves so much oil on your skin. I would not recommend it if you had an already oily skin, it won't help and it gets uncomfortable.

Works on a ginger, but a bit greasy

Great for keeping in the car as it's compact and easy to apply with one hand during long drives, and doesn't burst when it gets warm. It works well and definitely prevents burning even on my very fair skin. However, it is oily on the skin for a long time afterwards and doesn't seem to dry down like other sun screens do. Even being rubbed in doesn't make a huge difference in oil. So, it's not my favourite, but it's good, and there's no white cast that I've noticed.

Convenient, but feels oily in your skin

I loved the convenience of being able to bring it on your carry-on luggage without it counting as liquid, and how you avoid getting your hands wet applying it! However… It leaves your skin feeling very oily. It never really gets absorbed. And when you inevitably sweat, it’s almost as if this oily layer makes you sweat even more than with other sun creams! All in all, comes with trade offs. Beware

Deception

The item was advertised with a photo that gave the impression that the bottle of sunscreen was a normal large bottle and the price made me think it was a normal size. On arrival the bottle turned out to be a miniature. I feel I was deceived and am unable to return the item or even lodge a complaint. Please be advised all customers.

Mediocre

Honestly I don’t find this sun cream as effective as others. We’ve used and frequently reapplied and still found ourselves getting red. It is easy to apply but doesn’t matter if it doesn’t work well!

Very easy to carry around.

Easy to apply but I’m a bit worried it might melt inside a car or somewhere really hot. I would still recommend buying this.
