Smart & match finish-AWESOME, bins too narrow

Pros: The smart finish/ match cook work flawlessly. Controls are basic and easy for my husband to use. The vented tray doesn't fall out all the time when turning bins over to empty them. Cons: I went from a 8 qt Instant Pot AF to this because of the smart finish and match cook features, expecting a smaller bin because of the foot print in the description measurements. I didn't catch that the baskets are VeRy narrow & more deep, those dimensions need to be noted on the item write up. I use mine to warm up canned goods, vegetables, mashed potatoes at the same time I am cooking the main as I don't use a microwave. It doesn't fit more than 2 chicken breasts / hamburger patties, 3 lasagna roll ups in each bin. That also defeats the smart finish feature because you have to use both bins to cook more than 2 items, so I still have to sit dinner in a warm oven to cook for just 2 of us. I would have preferred having a wider pan not deep/tall or a better interior design that doesn't waste so much cooking area width. It's a big item and I am totally great with that on my counter, however, an extra inch or 2 width on my counter wouldn't matter as I don't use a microwave and I cook a lot of home made not frozen convenience food in my AF's. Friends with families have tested mine and found it too small and didn't purchase as it wouldn't speed up food item changeouts. I am trying some of the accessory collapsible silicone pans and stack up baskets to get more practical use out of the deep bins, but after spending $150+ on this and now $30 more in accessories its pricey and inconvenient to store them when a bit better design may be more efficient for the amazing smart features.

Came from a Cosori and other models

Edit: I have had this model for one and a half years. The coating on the interior grills--the removeable pieces--are showing very slight wear and tear. It is still truly no-stick, so it's a non-issue. I heard they are replaceable too. This is still an outstanding purchase and I am happy I have it. I use this between 3-7 days a week too, so lots of time using this. Original Review: I was disappointed with Cosori brand, having the coating coming off and the basket not staying in the air fryer etc. And I wanted a larger Air Fryer and this seemed like the only option. I heard Ninja was/is reliable and I wanted to try it. I am very glad I did, even though at first I wasn't an immediate fan. First, this device is far more accurate than the other air fryers I have owned. Temperature actually is regulated and controlled. The modes for cooking are meaningful choices (there is a difference between Air Fryer, Bake, Roast and other modes). I feel like I have actual options for cooking. I can use broil mode for carrots on one side and the bake option for Pilsbury Dough Crescent Rolls in the other. Second, the no-stick coating is legit. Cleanup is a breeze. It is leaps and bounds easier than any other air fryer I've used (I've owned two, but used many more). There is currently no wearing off of this coating in any way whatsoever. Other areas of the basket that don't have this coating have a slight wearing of the exterior coat, but it's nowhere near the food and to be expected. Third, baskets fit nicely into the receptacle and stay in place. This is something I had issues with in other brands and am pleasantly surprised here. Fourth, you can actually turn the basket upside down to dump the contents without losing the inner cooking "grate" or "grill" thanks to the silicone feet they have. You do have to ensure the feet are properly in place before cooking as over time they move out of position. However, they have stayed in place while dumping almost every time. There are some slight caveats with this device, but I don't see them as anything warranting a problem or really even a negative. They are mostly considerations. - You need to have some knowledge of air fryers before using this to the best of its capabilities. It doesn't hold your hand. It won't remind you to shake up a side, or have some presets for cooking that could help someone new to air fryers. Also, because of the way it is designed, it will need you to shake up a side more often than other airfryers that have a basket within a basket design (that makes the airflow guaranteed). - Cook time is slower when using both sides and needs to be adjusted as such. In my opinion it is better to cook less rather than more if in doubt. Especially with meat that needs to be thoroughly cooked (like chicken thighs as an example). - The 10 quart size is mostly depth rather than width. This means if you are cooking something like a whole bag of tatertots, you WILL have to supervise it by shaking them often during the cook time. - The way the airflow is designed means you have to keep the sides of the basket somewhat clear in order to get the true air fryer crispness you are looking for. - Since air temperature in the baskets are more accurate, this device puts out more heat into the room (it will expel excess hot air to keep the temperature inside accurate) - Unlike other air fryers, it doesn't stop cooking when you remove a basket to shake. Hot aire blows into the room and you have to manually press stop. This could be a plus for some people, but it's worth noting here. - Using the option to conclude cooking at the same time could be problematic since you often have to adjust cook times while using an air fryer. I wouldn't consider this a huge feature for buying this device. Some real bonuses - In my experience so far, since the baskets are deep rather than wide, the coil at the top of each side is nowhere near as dirty as other airfryers since the oil/juice popping up during cooking doesn't always reach the coils. - The temperature is fairly accurate inside - The cleanup is just beyond easy, especially having owned other air fryers that supposedly had non-stick. - Being able to cook two whole chickens--as an example-- or two of anything as large as whole chickens makes this unit shine over pretty much all current air fryers. - The outside and inside cleans really easily - All the buttons are tactile and I haven't had a single issue with the device having issues of any sort or button presses that weren't registering.

Great larger + dual zone air fryer!

I owned a previous air fryer that had trays vs drawers and thought that was better to cook two layers/trays of food but after trying the Ninja Foodi tonight, I see what I was missing! The drawers allow for two cooking methods, either the same or different cooking methods, temperatures or times. The drawers make for very easy clean up. The machine is also quiet and doesn't put out steam. First cook use was a favorite in our house, chicken wings and drums. Crispy on the outside, juicy, tender on the inside. I'm really happy with this air fryer!

Amazing

I never thought I would get an air fryer, but I had several people rave about this model, so I rolled the dice. This is amazing! Very versatile and does not take up too much room. Super easy to use and clean when done. I like that it has the two basket areas, that you can utilize to multi-task and get multiple things made. This will definitely be getting a lot of use in my household!

I’ve had MANY air fryers and this is definitely my favorite. It holds a large amount of food & it really comes in handy that you can cook different items on each side of it, but have them done at the same time! This product requires almost no preheating time, so your food is finished quickly! I would definitely recommend this to friends and family!

Best Purchase of 2022!!

I bought this Ninja air fryer in September 2022 and 8 months later I can say this was probably the best purchase I made in 2022. We use this fryer probably two to three times a week. It is so easy to use and the food we've cooked using this fryer has been amazing!! I was afraid after buying this appliance that it would just take up space on the kitchen counter. Couldn't be so wrong. This air fryer will not disappoint!!!!

Best purchase ever!

I was very skeptical about the whole air fryer thing in general and was afraid this would just be another gadget that would take up space on my counter, BUT I absolutely LOVE this thing!!!! I literally haven't used my oven since I bought this gem. Chicken breast...amazing, salmon.....sooooo good, heating up chicken nuggets or fries....yes please! It cleans so easily!! Only slight issue is the baskets aren't huge. Sometimes takes a few batches, but still so worth it!

I love this machine.

I did not rate the flavor since that is solely on me, not the machine. All I can say it, “Where have you been all my life?” I love this machine. Perfect size for my husband and I. I hardly need my oven anymore. I can cook a roast or small chicken in this and it turns out perfect every time. Reheated food tastes amazing and takes no time. Love, love, love it. ❤️

Llegó 2 días antes de lo previsto, la caja del artículo venía dentro de otras 2 cajas las cauales sí venían algo maltratadas. Sin embaego, la freídora no tenía ni un rasguño. Respecto a su funcionamiento es perfecta, ya hice varias pruebas con varias de sus funciones, aún me falta la de hornear. Les actualizo cuando lo haga. Por el momento puedo decirles que es una excelente opción, te ahorras mucho tiempo de cocina y puedes calcular el tiempo para tener la sopa y la carne listas al momento de la hora de la comida. En cuanto a fritura, mis respetos, deja el empanizado muy crujiente.

Cook for more than two people or two or three dishes for two people

The great advantage of this model is that it is two medium sized air fryers in one device, You can make large quantities of one item, or you can cook two different foods at the same time, or while you kook one large item, like a whole chicken on one side, you can cook two other dishes on the other side. I can cook a whole 4 pound chicken on one side in 40 minutes, and a side of potato wedges and a side of green beans on the other side of the fryer. It is super easy to clean. Just tried the baking option and made really good milk bread. This is the best appliance to cook small to medium meals fast and healthy.

He cocinado bastantes alimentos , me gusta que ahora que son temporadas de frío he realizado tantas recetas: Hamburguesas Jalapeños rellenos en queso Philadelphia Pan mantequilla Pollo asado Carne asada Verduras Es una freidora muy completa. Compré la XL y en verdad tiene un espacio muy muy bueno.
