Terrible Product Change - Too greasy.

Nivea aftershave lotion has been my "family label" for years since I discovered it while living in Austria and Slovakia for over 10 years! I was delighted to see that it was available here and continued to use this excellent and reliable product! Never been a fan of the glass bottle package but overlooked due to top-quality of product. This made my face feel smooth and moisturized afterwards. However, THERE HAS BEEN A TERRIBLE CHANGE IN THE PRODUCT. I started to notice it not absorbing as much and leaving a white film over my face. At first, I thought I had done something different but now I am certain the formula has changed. After looking closer, all 3 bottles that have this issue are made at a new location in Mexico. I don't care where it is made as long as quality doesn't suffer and I'll tell u now this is a BIG MISTAKE. I have relied on this product for YEARS and either Amazon or Nivea have dropped the ball big time. I won't buy it anymore if I can't get the same feel-good formula. This new formula is horribly greasy and doesn't absorb well and leaves a white film for almost 30 minutes until it "dries out" enough to not be seen. I also have issues with skin blemishes I did not previously have. I've TRIED to make this product work as I thought maybe my diet changed or something but still after 3 months to no avail I've had to throw it out and use some face cream that my wife has until I can find a replacement. I hope NIVEA will fix this but by then I'll likely have moved on to another product....after around 15 years! Too bad.

Nice balm but stupid packaging

My favorite aftershave balm was discontinued so I went in search and tried this. I find it more liquid than my last, but still fairly thick and calming to the skin. It seems to moisturize well and is lightly scented. My only real complaint is that its packaged in a glass bottle. A glass bottle in a bathroom filled with tile and everything hard surface seems really stupid. Also since you can't squeeze the bottle I suspect 10% of it will not be despensible and be stuck in the bottle. I will probably buy it again, but I wish they would fix their packaging.

Excellent lotion, terrible packaging

It's a great lotion that works well and smells nice. The packaging it horrible however. The lotion doesn't flow out freely from the bottle, so you have to pat it a little to nudge it out. When you pat a heavy glass bottle with wet hands, it tends to slip out... I had one fall on the tile and break. This product was much better in a plastic upside down tube that was the previous generation. Don't fix what's not broken....

Love this stuff

Removed my Santa White beard after the Holidays and use this stuff to get my old skin back in shape. Same old face but the skin is looking better.
