Unreliable and flimsily-made
The product works, but definitely neither reliably nor predictably. I purchased several of this product with different heights. The taller one does seem to charge better at sunlight and behaves more consistently than the shorter ones despite the solar panels in the candles seem to have the same surface area. I've tested this by switching the rechargeable batteries and switching thrir charging locations on days with similar sunlight. This may be due to degradation of the solar panel or circuitry during storage before they were shipped, but that would say something about how long one can expect these candles to last. However, both candles still behave rather unpredictably with the shorter ones sometimes not lighting up at all after a full day with bright sun and the long ones sometimes not lasting more than 2 hrs but sometimes lasting from sunset around 5 to at least before I go to bed at 11. The light detection feature is overly-sensitive, with the candles often lighting up in somewhat bright situations like slightly cloudy days, resulting in the candles often not lighting up as intended at night because the battery runs dry before sunset. The candles are very light and may easily be knocked off or even easily blown away in windy places. The faint amber light emitted cover almost no area beyond the candle itself, so it is definitely a product purely for decorative purposes and will not provide any lighting in dark situations. The amber function of all the ones I received is a lot warmer in colour than candle light and do not produce the same type of ambience. The multi-color function is aethetically atrocious as the colours that rotate are typical of cheap-looking made in China products.

Pretty glow every night
The media could not be loaded. Love the glow from this light. We use spot lights for main lighting so lantern was never being used with traditional bulb. Now we have a little glow every night.

It works
This is pretty cool. I love the fact that’s its solar- so just set it and forget it. I keep mine on a windowsill that gets full sun in the daytime and it goes on once the sunsets. I only use the white (it’s a soft yellowish white). The only thing I dislike is the fact that it doesn’t come in for a long time. Maybe 2-3 hours.

Looks great but has an issue
Love these lights the only thing is that they do rust on the bottom and the on/off and mode switch gets damaged. Even with the switch broken they work but you can control the mode any longer. I have bought 4 and just leave them on the mode I like the most. They do stay on all night if they got sun during the day.

These are good and work well
These are good and work well. They only work for a few hours each night but they were replacements to other solar candles in a glass lantern so they fit the bill and they haven't melted even though the temperature gets very hot in the lantern. Would have given 5 stars if they lasted longer but perhaps I am asking too much.
