So overpriced

I like these but they are so overpriced. We purchased these because of the brand and hole pattern - it's the same brand of hinge that was used for all the doors in our new house and we wanted to match the holes in the doors and frames so we wouldn't have to create new ones. Also, all the other hinges available at Home Depot/Lowe's have different hole patterns. We ended up paying a lot more for these, and even though the hole pattern was the same, the holes still ended up being mid-aligned. So I guess over the years the company kept the hole pattern but moved the holes just slightly around... really annoying. Wish we just went with the cheap ones from Home Depot instead of paying 10x per hinge.

Wrong items received, polished brass finish does not look good

I ordered 4 of the steeple tip rounded edge polished brass. After waiting nearly a month, I didn't receive 4 matching hinges but 2 polished, 2 antique and with different corners. That said, the antique brass looks nicer than the polished brass. The polished brass looks cheap and does not look like the finish would last, especially on the steeple tips. Not sure I'll re-order as the price was very high to begin with.
