Screws break

Very cute. I deducted a star because the screws for the handle were so cheap that they broke, luckily my grandchild’s father was handy and had extra screws

+Very easy to assemble (total 10 screws = 5 per side) +Quite giftable (box art is appropriate, colorful, yet rustic-looking) +No batteries required +Real wood gives that unique, attractive look and feel (and even sound), much better than plastic walkers ++Its quite stable and most probably much sturdier and stronger than plastic walkers -The shape sorter activity is too limited in my opinion (only the 3 blocks) -The shapes fall out of the basket area too easily (theres too big a gap, refer to pic) -Xylophone hammer came broken (really just detached) but can be fixed easily -/+The activities seem too simple, but maybe Im just expecting too much (maybe it is age appropriate) ! Most of it comes pre-assembled, especially the stuff that looks hard to assemble. Refer to picture of disassembled parts, thats how it comes out of the box ! There are minimal plastic pieces for functionality, but the item is atleast 95% wood; not a problem for me, just thought I would mention ! Make sure to align the hole with the white plastic screw at the bottom (refer to pic), otherwise the metal screw wont go in, and if you try with a power drill you will end up breaking through the wood (I made this mistake, its just very easy to align the hole for assembly instead). FYI there are only 4 of these plastic screws to attach the bottom board to the sides. **** Overall 4 stars: a very recommendable product which would be perfect if it had more complete activities for baby. The entire product is exquisitely rustic (even the box), which makes it a great gift. It looks more like a baby walker than plastic, battery-operated walkers

good toy

This is a good toy and its very strong however I literally could not put it together. I ended up giving up and just playing with the 1 side with my daughter

Nuby wooden baby walker

I like that this wooden walking toy is sturdy for those learning to walk. I also like that this was easy assembly. The only thing I did not like was one screw was missing.

Pretty but wouldn't trust a baby just learning to walk not to tip this or most any "baby walker"

The media could not be loaded. It's nice and sturdy once assembled (have your Philips screwdriver ready -- the one that fits in cross shapes.). But it could tip if a baby (they suggest 10 months and up) were to push it wrong, just like most walkers. Even my walker is tippable! I'm not sure what the orange and blue chalky substances I got on my hands were. I didn't see or feel anywhere that the paint was coming off in my hands, and it doesn't smell or have an odd scent or smell big time like paint like some wooden things do that I've received. So who knows how my hands and the cardboard got those colors. But I love how brightly this thing is decorated! Made in China Check out my video of one of my favorite senior citizens testing it, and also lots of photos for plenty more details. I actually ordered this knowing I wouldn't ever use it like a walker. I know it'll be fun for all ages for my musical arts portion of my arts therapy coaching. Also we can have a parade with it. Plus we can play with all the fun little do-dads: I love the little emergency services cars on the side for instance, those are really cute. Plus my grandson's going to get a kick out of playing pushing it for our parade because he's old enough that he'll know not to tip it over by mistake and fall. I noticed that the little cars on the bottom front part that turn around -- I think if they mean for you to match all three that doesn't quite work because they won't stay in the position of three matching steadily. The maze and everything else works great. I get a kick out of the cogs -- they make me kind of dizzy kind of like Twilight Zone. My mom was in a lot of pain but I noticed that whenever I have her play music, sometimes it helps her forget it a little bit, so I had her play with the portion that stands up straight on the Walker kinda while I was assembling the rest. She tested it on her lap and had a blast. I'll be sure and take it out a lot for our play times too! Happy musical, colorful fun, all.

Lots of knobs to play with. Came slightly chipped.

I really like Nuby products and have been looking for a walker/activity toy so I was hoping this one wouldn’t disappoint. Overall, it doesn’t disappoint. Highlights: +Easy to put together. Everything fit just fine. +Feels pretty sturdy and has a wider wheel base +Lots of knobs/moving pieces for kids to play with +Storage with netting at the back of the walker (my daughter likes to take toys with her toys) +Bright colors +Xylophone for music +Easy to hold onto and push The walker can be played with by kids who aren’t walking yet - just put it on carpet, and maybe resting against a piece of furniture or wall, so it doesn’t move on them. If toddlers are still learning to walk and bobble, there is a chance they could topple to the side - as with any walker. The only reason for one less star is the paint was chipped in a few areas on the toy as seen in the attached photo.

Do not buy!!

Do not buy this product! The screws do not fit into the holes, the wood is cheap and split on the board. Very cheaply made!!! Do not recommend at all!! I wasted my money and my time.

Great gift

Only 10 screws to put together this toy. Starts at age 10 months and up. What i especially love about this learning toy is that the wheels will slow down if you will, so the baby wont fall forward and hurt himself. One side contains push through shapes, the other cars that slide through a track. The front interface has a wooden mini xylophone, gears, beads and my babys favorite thing the mirror! This is a must have toy for any baby interested im standing!
