You can make it work with some workarounds
When I purchase something new, I expect it to work and not to have to find workarounds to make it work. Directions as to how to open the unit included in the user manual is unclear A button is placed on the right front of the unit, according to the manufacturer's comment to someone who also noted this problem: the button placed there to open the unit, but it doesn't open it, as a matter of fact, I'm wondering what the button is for at all since it doesn't do the only thing it is supposed to do. Thank goodness one of the Amazon buyers found and shared the workaround. Press down on the two corners of the unit where the locking tabs are. Since the locking tabs are small plastic tabs, I wonder how long will they last. Otherwise, it is a pretty nice little appliance.

It seals but it could be improved.
I like the compactness of the sealer but, the bags do not sit well. It took a couple of tries before I was able to seal the bag. It would be nice to have something other than the top of the sealer to hold the bag in place securely. Also there were some discrepancies in the instruction manual. I can’t answer for freshness because I haven’t opened my sealed bags yet.

It was only $30
We have had 3 Food Saver machines. The last 2 were fairly deluxe models that didn't seem to last more than 2-3 years before breaking. The 1st model we had lasted the longest and was a very basic machine like this one. We considered buying that model but this was quite a bit cheaper than the Food Saver so we wanted to give this a try. So far it works great, the truth will be if it has any longevity, fingers crossed.

Good value and small footprint
This is a no-frills vacuum sealer that works pretty good for the most part. Simple operation if all you want is a machine that sucks air out and seals bags. The machine has had some trouble with sealing when the bag isn't 100% clean, but now that I know to not overfill bags and be careful when putting things it hasn't been a problem.

Don't waste your money if you want something that lasts
Update: We haven't even owned this machine for 6 months, only using it a handful of times, and it has stopped working. Overall, I enjoyed this purchase. One of the selling factors was the small size and low cost. My only complaint is the bags that came with it didn't seal properly. After going out and buying a roll that allows you to pick/make your own size bag I didn't have any issues. The offer in the product for free bags is a bit misleading. It says you can receive free bags after registering the product and sending them an email however that isn't the case.

Sobre Seladora a vácuo NutriChef
Precisei da ajuda do pós venda (que foi EXCELENTE), para conseguir utilizar a contento a seladora. O tipo de travamento não é muito fácil, e se não houver o travamento adequado, a cola não funciona, comprometendo a selagem. Após o envio de um vídeo, ficou mais fácil o entendimento e a seladora funcionou a contento. Achei o material frágil, e terei cuidado redobrado, pois é um objeto imprescindível pra mim na cozinha.
