Good quality. I got them on sale too so keep an eye out. My dad has foot badly injured in a construction accident so he needed slippers that weren’t too tight on the top of his foot so the strap has been great. He is now walking on the heels of them so the sale price helps it not hurt as much lol

Nice and wide, warm and comfy.

My boyfriend has wide feet, high arches and weak ankles. He usually wears his shoes around the house for support and he tracks dirt and stuff in from his work shoes and the outdoors. I have been trying to find him slippers that offer some support and are wide enough to fit his feet, so he can take off his shoes when he comes in and still have the support his feet need. These fit him very well and they are warm and comfortable. They have more support than your average men's slipper. You could wear them outside if necessary, although they would look pretty funny because they are very wide. They have a strap to a adjust how tight they are. They might be too warm to wear in the warmer weather. All in all, they are a nice pair of slippers, albeit a little goofy looking.

Velcro Adjustment Is Nice

I have worn Old Friends for years. Very comfy. The two best features are (1) they come in my size, and (2) the Velcro strap makes the fit just right. They are not too tight, and they are not too loose. They stay on. They don't fall off.

Nice lookng,but a bit weak at the heel

I ordered an 11, and it was just a smidgeon to short. I might have tried an 11.5, but after trying them a couple of times, I had the impression that the heel support was not sufficiently firm to maintain its shape. Once your foot is in, the strap closure keeps everything snug, but they are not "slip-on/slip-off".

Difficult to put on if you have a bad knee

These slippers are very difficult to get on unless you can reach your heel to pull the rear of the shoe up over the heel. If you have a bad knee or any condition that makes reaching the back of your heel difficult then the collapsing back of the shoe give you fits and you will not allow such you will need help from someone else. If nothing else the use of a long shoe horn will be needed. Unlike the Old Friend Booties that I have worn for years and which have a stiff heel these "slippers" will not just slip on, the rear of the shoe must be pulled up over your heel. The shoe needs stiffer heel area similar to the Booties. Otherwise they fit correctly, except that I had to order a size larger than the size I order the Old Friend Booties in. Having only worn these daily for about two weeks I cannot comment on durability.....I HOPE, however, that they last longer than the Booties did. Unlike Old Friend Booties that I have worn for years the last pair I ordered did not last longer than three months.

Excellent craftsmanship! Diabetic friendly feel!! A++

FINALLY.....! A pair of slippers that feel amazing and comfortable on my diabetic feet! I love the adjustable Velcro strap across the top to tighten the fit. I think it helps keep the foot snug in the slipper to hold the heat in, especially when you want immediate warmth if they are cold as mine feel often because of poor blood circulation. I ordered a size up based on some reviews and I do agree that is the right move, they fit perfect for my feet which are a shoe size 9, so went with 10’s. The soles are solid and give very good support and you don’t feel the floor through the soles. If there is any negative to take away it would be that they are slightly a bit more bulky than a lot of slippers, (which you can kinda tell looking at the pictures), however with a Sherpa type of lining as well as on the soles (which are also 100% removable in one piece) you can’t really expect them to be a slim look. I think they still have a cool style to them anyways! I would recommend these to anyone, especially feet sensitive diabetics like myself. It’s a big deal for something to touch your feet for diabetes as funny as that may sound, so yeah pick a pair out, you’ll be happy with them in my opinion.

Too small - returned.

These slippers were much smaller than expected. They are for my dad who has size 12 feet, but we had to order size 15, extra wide. His feet do swell however.
