Disappointed in how knives turn out from dishwasher

We bought this set to replace an older set we had. Brand name is always good and we finally found a set that had a good weight to it. VERY disappointed that the knives come out of the dishwasher looking rusted on the edges. Closer look at the care instructions recommends NOT using drying heat at the end of the dishwasher cycle....seriously??? Now we have to hand wash/dry any of the knives we use.
