this isn't 1/4 inch

I attached a pic of other 1/4 in barbed products that I bought at the same time. As you can see, the black one is much smaller. It just falls out of the 1/4 silicon tubing that I got it for.

You get what you pay for but you might not need a Cadillac!

First order was for 50 because of the funny pricing. I need a quantity of them at a value price. I am the old lady down the street who's green thumb goes all the way up to her elbow. I am a master at drip. I clone and start plants from seed. My garden is forever changing. I wanted to shut off my 2 gallon emitters when I moved a plant. I don't know if these completely cut off the water. I don't think they can be finely adjusted. I break them and the little knob can pops off and shoots a 15' stream. But for my massive garden they provide a lot of control. I used up the 50 and ordered another 100. You can get a better value but these can do the trick at a value price.

Adjustable flow from full to off in one full turn

Good value at $2 for four. I had the freely turning ones before that turn off/on in one quarter turn. These instead screw down, so you can feel when they are shut off, but you can’t see it from afar. Takes a full turn, rather than a quarter turn, from off to on, so much easier to adjust flow a little.

I have bought these over and over again because they work great as variable emitters. You still have to check on them from time to time.

Work, but not very well

This product does the work, BUT, they are not very easy to use. Mister landscaper's shut-off Valve are very clear when they are on and when they are off. One look and you know. These ones are not. The position of the valve doesn't tell you if it's open or not. They can spin many times. Overall, the mister landscaper's one, while more expensive, are much easier to use.

Pretty squishy valve, hard to tell if either open or going to fall off when water turns on.

Didn’t work for me

The 1/4” hose popped off of these after only a few minutes of use. When they were on, the plastic valve leaked. Push to connect connectors and valves work best in my setup without fail. Do not buy if you can’t moderate your water pressure

They break very easily with your hand. Not worth the cost for the quality.

It would be nice to have a valve that opens and closes with one turn rather than the screw-design of this but other than that, they work great and I have no complaints.

Work very well, I use them for my automatic watering system. I can individually control watering quantity to different plants. Since some plants need more water than others, this is ideal.

These seem to do what they are suposed to do. Fairly easy to insert and no leaks.
