Good price
My gardener frequently damaged risers and sprinkler heads. Sometimes, he doesn’t have right supplies so these are handy to have on hand. I priced it on Amazon to save myself a trip to hardware store and price is on line with Home Depot

Perfect sprinkler for watering taller bushes that require trimming
I love that this metal sprinkler is adjustable in height. I have a bush that I regularly trim on an annual basis, and once the plant gets close to the height, I can simply adjust this to keep the water from getting smothered. The process to install is just like any other sprinkler head, twist in place and you are ready to go. Now I don't have dead spots in my garden. Very satisfied with the product, ease of use, and quality.

Really helps wayet tall plants and a wide area in your garden.. replaces standard sprinkler head. spray pattern full adjustable. They are VERY fragile where the screw in at the base… so if one isnt straight up, and you try to bend it over it will snap off

hello, over the years, we have replace many sprinklers in our yard. the problem with pop up sprinklers is that when the plants grow taller, the flow of water gets blocked and the pop up just does not do it any more. but not only does the pop up sprinkler get blocked, sometimes, the pop up mechanism get worn and now you have a garden fountain coming out of the old pop up. this version is so much better for fast growing plants in yards. the standard height is good for a couple of foot tall bushes/plants, but when it is necessary to go beyond for faster/taller plants, you can adjust the grip ring and now, you have another 12-14 inches of height for better spray. these were made in recent times, but if they had been around 10 years ago, we would have installed them in our yard. they are very handy and fully adjustable from 1/4 to a full 360 degree head pattern. if you do not like the full 360 adjustable head, it can be easily replaced by a standard 1/2, 1/4, 3/4 pattern head. an excellent product and fast delivery.

Versatile but lacks longevity
The plastic spray head last a couple of years and gets blown up by the water pressure when cracked by UV. Need to replace the heads ongoing. Of you're using this, be sure to stock up on replacement spray heads.

Great solution for tall vegetation
I bought these to replace a few pop-up sprinkers in locations where the vegetation has grown up enough that the spray from the pop-ups no longer reached very far. The taller height, which is adjustable, helps to greatly increase coverage area of the spray. Of course, now there is a sprinkler riser in plain view all the time, but the green color blends in nicely and the plants farther away from the riser are happy again. Be aware that if you are installing these in place of existing standard pop-up risers, you may need to also purchase a 1/2" threaded female-to-female adapter to connect if you have an existing threaded male connector to your main irrigation line. This Orbit riser has a 1/2" male threaded connector on it.

Incompatible with the Orbit Irrigation System. What a Joke!
I purchased it with the intention to replace one of the Orbit spray heads of the Orbit irrigation system. I mistakenly assumed that it should be compatible with the system. Unfortunately, it has a male rather than a female end so I can not use it at all. I found out about this incompatibility it is too late to return. Now I have to keep it as a waste! There is no clear description on the website which misled me!
