Oooh, Shiny!

This is an extremely solid set of shelves and I LOVE them. I have only had them in my bathroom for a couple of weeks now so I cannot yet attest to durability when it comes to moisture, but so far no problems. You will need a drill and screwdriver to install it, but to build it you can just use your hands. Building is very easy, installing is a little more difficult, but nothing abnormal. I say 'difficult' from an amateur's standpoint. This was my first set of shelves I've installed on my own, it would be a lot easier with a second set of hands. What can I say, I'm stubborn. Even for me, an impatient weakling who doesn't suffer failure well, I was able to get this installed in one shot and without issue. The shelves might as well be fused right on to the wall, that's how well the pieces fit together and how strong the mount is. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble and then 30-45 minutes to install on my own. Looks great and you'd think I spent more money on it than I did. For those who want to put it above their toilet it fits there well, I made sure to keep mine high so no risk of head bumps, it's a comfortable height with no risk for any such trouble. I'm not worried about the weight of the items I put on it either, very impressed! TL;DR Easier to install with two people than with one, but you can do it on your own. As long as you have a drill, screwdriver, and a bit of patience you're going to have a beautiful bathroom piece well worth your money!

Sweet shelves for a small bathroom

We had a blank wall over the commode in our guest bathroom, and we needed some shelves. I dislike over-the-toilet shelves, so I searched for alternatives. I saw one of these pipe/glass shelves in a movie, so I knew what I wanted. I'm so happy I found this shelf on Amazon! It's about the width of the commode, so it fits in a small bathroom. It was easy to install and is quite sturdy. I have no worries about it falling or the glass shelves breaking. I just wish it had a bar across the bottom to hang washcloths or a hand towel - I might add one in the future.

Good looking and functional shelves

Got this 2-tier shelf as a last minute add-on to our bathroom renovation. It is hung above the toilet tank, high enough not to hit our heads when we get up from the WC. The space was formerly occupied by a wall painting and didn't add 'value' to the space. This shelving provides the needed additional holding space for our bath towels, where the old tall cabinet gave way to more counter space. Assembly is required to put all the metal frame pieces and joints together, with fairly good pictorial instructions. Two things I wish on this are: 1) mounting screws to be not visible, like most towel bar wall mount would be. 2) Crimping on 4 corners of the metal tube bending curve and not a smooth flow. Minor distractions for not giving it a 5 star rating.

Great product

This shelf is very nice, especially for the price. I suggest putting numbers from instructions on every part/bag before starting. It went together in about 20 minutes. Look very carefully at pictures and you are fine. Would purchase again.

My husband had no issues putting this shelf together. After reading all the reviews we decided to buy this shelving for our new bathroom. If your looking for a heavy weight chrome this shelf is not for you. We were looking for something heavier, we decided to keep the shelf because it does look very nice in our bathroom. The tempered glass is nice. .

Don't waste your money.

I'm incredibly disappointed for several reasons. First, this rack is made of very thin metal that a child could bend. On top of that, the round tubes are flat and/or pinched in bends due to cost-cutting manufacturing. Second, the finish doesn't seem to be real chrome, but rather a polished finish of the thin metal... the rack will arrive with scratches and blemishes... when you polish soft metal, you're adding lipstick to a pig. Third, the welds are terrible. Truly terrible. Where the open end of a tube meets the side of another tube, there are two tiny spot welds keeping them together which speaks to the cheap quality in itself, but the surrounding metal is also browned from the welding process heat. Fourth, the little decorative bumps on the tubes near the shelves are just poorly formed plastic... if you try to get rid of the burrs, you will remove the plastic chrome. As least then your marred plastic will match your marred metal. I suppose I'm being so critical because every single place that corners could be cut, they were cut, yet this rack is almost three times as costly as a similar rack made by the same company. Why? Aside from effectively holding my towels, there isn't a single positive thing I can say about this rack. It is as cheap as cheap can get.
