Overall Excellent - Cleanable, good seal, zero complaints

I got this to replace the included solid cap for my Oxo bottle, and I'm very impressed. I *really* like that it comes with two straws, because I went brain dead thinking I had the 20oz bottle and trimmed one of them short before realizing my mistake. In terms of construction, this is pleasingly simple - I say pleasingly because I've had earlier straw caps with nooks and crannies that were difficult to clean. This cap can be completely disassembled into 4 pieces (5 if you take the O-ring off as well, haven't done that). The straw is the right size for cleaning with a straw cleaning brush. It fits into a gray silicone plug that holds the straw and also has the vent hole, that plug is easy to remove, clean and reassemble. The cap with that plug removed is basically a single piece of plastic that's easy to clean, and the flip-up spout can be removed easily if it's at about a 45 degree up angle - so get it halfway open, then just pull directly up (and run the straw cleaning brush in if you desire). Everything goes back together seamlessly. I haven't had any problems with spills, and on a recent trip I put it in my luggage empty then left it there for most of a week before opening it. When I did open it (at ~5000 feet altitude vs near sea level) the bottle still had the air pressure of my origin based on the hiss of released air. If it's holding air, it should hold water at least as well. Edit: after testing on a flight, the pressure release hole opens before the straw, so no fountains when opened on a plane.

Item arrived defected, but got refunded

The bottle arrived defected. I paid full amount for it but still got bangs and scratches. Update: got fully refunded, will order a new one, hopefully will arrive in mint condition this time.

Adequate for its intended use

While this is not the most robust insulated water bottle I have ever used, it is adequate for its intended purpose. It fits in the cup holder of my truck great. It keeps cold items ice cold for about 8 hours and cold for only 18 hours. The cap is rather difficult to remove unless you have a strong grip.

Adorable

Love everything about it. Easy to carry, fits in the purse, easy to fill and to drink from. Got it in yellows and love the color. The quality is very nice. Very happy with this and would totally get it again.

Perfect to put in your purse or inside of a backpack

I really like it. Nicely insulated. Slightly pebbled so it is easy to hold. But I did end up buying a small strap for it to free up my hands since it has no loop or handle to grab on to.

Poor isolation

I respect Oxo for their high quality product. In this case i fail confused. the bottle fails to keep the water hot as expected. the isolating O-rinf seats too closed to the top where the wall is not isolated

It keeps my water really cold. I add mint, cucumber and some mint and it stats fresh all day in there. I love it.????????????
