Black Dress made by a Black Girl

When I saw the dress, I fell in love and knew it was the perfect dress to celebrate my 50th birthday. I loved the casualness of the fabric considering the style was upscale. The train appeared much longer than the picture and I found myself fighting with it all evening. This dress is perfect for someone with an slender build, curvey women must be careful because it accentuates some of your more fluffy parts which we don't want.

Sharp Lots if Compliments

ordered XL based on measurements however should had ordered Large. I’m 5’4” had seamstress cut off 6” very long and because of the size ordered I had to have the part that hangs off the arm adjust as well as the back so that It would fall correctly as well as adjusted in the waist slight for a more fitted look. overall received many compliments because it was different. so you may want to go down a size probably because the measurements listed to me slightly off. I love the designer the reason for ordering. would buy again her formal wear. The slit is sexy.

Love love love!! Although the zipper broke upon initial try on and had to be replaced, I am soooo very pleased with the dress. The split was wayyyyyyy up there and had to be closed a tad (4 inches) also dress is reallly long, semester took 5-6 in off around the bottom and it was still very long with a small train/tail. Overall lovvvvvve it!!

Pretty Dress

This dress was very pretty, but came with dog fur all over it, as well as the ends of the dress had lint balls, the dress was pretty, but I couldn’t keep it due to it having the dog fur and I have allergies. So after my try on, I was very itchy.

I love the look of the dress but I should have ordered in my size. Why I ordered a size up I will never understand! But the dress itself is absolutely beautiful. Material is nice and thick. Stretchy.

This dress will be my bridesmaids gowns.

This dress fit like a glove. I ended up not getting to wear it outside of trying it on but, this was made perfectly. I love the high slit and the way the dress hugged my curves. My only issue was that I had to pin the shoulder drape. Besides that perfect.

The slit is sooo high

Loved the way it fit and looked up top but the slit is soooo high and the hem is long. I would have had to get it altered if I kept it. There was about 6-8 inches of extra material at the bottom - even with heels. And the slit was so high, if i moved my right leg, you could see all of my crotch/underwear.

Disappointed

I absolutely love Andreas creativity and was expecting a product that's high quality and a wonderful fit. Unfortunately, this isn't it. The material feels cheap, the fit in the breast is so weird, and the leg slit goes all the way to above your underwear so you will 100% have to clip your dress when you wear it or look hella cheap and wear some black shorta. This doesn't even have tags to start and it doesn't tell you the materials, no tags for cleaning instructions. Anyway, I am giving this 3 just because I love Andrea and want to support her but this product is just bad.
