Nice and light

This is a great lightweight moisturizer. It really does help keep skin looking matte and fresh. It's perfect for skin that tends to be more on the oily side. It feels lightweight and it doesn't leave skin feeling greasy. The pump top dispenser is easy to use. About 2-3 pumps gives me the amount I want. I'll be interested to see how well it holds up during a humid Southern summer! Overall though it's a nice face cream and I like what I'm seeing so far.

It’s nice but I don’t love it

I ordered this because my skin is super tricky. I have pretty annoying adult acne and have to use a super drying face soap twice a day to keep the breakouts under control. Because of this every esthetician I’ve ever been too thinks I have dry skin. In reality my skin can be pretty oily especially with any sort of product. I like that this was supposed to cut back the oil and still hydrate. Sounded like the perfect solution for after my face wash. I do want to caveat this review with the fact that I am newly pregnant so my skin is extra complicated right now. The first thing I noticed is that the box explained exactly when to apply this in the course of any skin care routine. I usually only use the wash but it’s always so confusing on when to apply toner and serum and moisturizer and spf etc so I really appreciated that this explained that. I was a little confused with the lid at first. Turns out it’s a super nifty two piece lid. The top part just lifts off and there is a really cool pump in the middle that you can get a pretty precise amount out of without contaminating the rest of the product. You can also unscrew that piece to have access to the whole tub underneath. I assume this would come in handy when you are getting towards the bottom of the tub. Upon applying it, I noticed it smells like hair dye. It’s not the worst smell in the world but if you’re sensitive to smells it might bother you. Immediately after applying it dried pretty quickly and didn’t feel oily or sticky. I feel like matte is a pretty good description. Unfortunately for me later in the day I did notice my face being more oily so it didn’t stay matte for the whole day. Overall this is a pretty nice product and I will probably use it occasionally in the future if my face is needing a little extra hydration, but I don’t think it’s going to work for me as a daily type thing. It is pretty pricey so I don’t think I would recommend just giving it a shot in the dark, but maybe ask your esthetician or dermatologist about the active ingredients and if they think it would be a good product for you to try based on your personal needs. It definitely beats a lot of other moisturizers I have tried though.

Not a fan of this one actually

I hate the high price tag, but man, PCA makes some great products... and this is not one of them. Next to water, the main ingredient is dimethicone, which lends a nice smoooooth feel to your skin. I felt like my skin was suffocating wearing this. It reduces the appearance of pores, but I don't feel like it actually helps address the problem. I felt so oily and ick after using this that I could not finish the tub. I do like the applicator (central pump) that will keep this fresher longer and the generous size but I am just not sure I could make myself put this on every day. Initially your skin does stay matte, but but by the end of the day, it was grease city for me. I think my sweat glands went into overdrive when my skin felt like it could not breathe. INGREDIENTS: Water, Dimethicone, Glycerin, C12-15 Alkyl Lactate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Phenoxyethanol, Propanediol, Sodium PCA , Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Decylene Glycol, Erythritol, Trideceth-6, Carrageenan, 1,2-Hexanediol, Xanthan Gum, Hydrolyzed Rice Bran Extract, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Schinus Molle Extract.

My new favorite moisturizer

I love gel moisturizers and am always on the look out for a new one. I am so glad that I decided to give this one a try! I have combination skin and this lightweight, gel moisturizer is perfect for my skin. I apply it to clean, dry skin with my fingertips and I use it sparingly. It is absorbed almost immediately. My skin then has a matte finish, while still feeling moisturized. No feeling of oiliness and no breakthrough shine, even after several hours. I am very pleased with this product! I now have a new favorite moisturizer!

Definitely gets rid of some oil/shine

A moisturizer that also gets rid of my shine? Sign me up! There's a lot I like about this moisturizer, but for the price, I think I just had super duper high hopes for it. It does work, but I still seem to get lots of shine on my face (especially my forehead)... It just feels like it's a little later in the day that it occurs. But I DO notice a difference overall and that makes me happy. I like applying this- it goes on nice and easy and feels very lightweight. It doesn't have my favorite smell, but I think it's fragrance-free so it's not overpowering in any way. I will definitely continue using this- the images in this listing show what skin looks like after 8 weeks and I think I've been using this for 5, so I'm hoping it continues to get better! If you have a problem with oily and shiny skin and most moisturizers only make it worse, definitely try this one if it fits into your budget!

Okay！！

It has a nice light texture, no fake smell, and goes on easily, but it is not hydrating. When I put it on at night i still feel it glooped on my skin in the morning without any added softness or moisture for my skin. So, I pair it with a heavier moisturizer. I'm still recommending this product, though, because my skin type is combination. I imagine this product would be ideal for someone with oily skin.

Better shine control than most

I have combination skin that gets oily and shiny pretty fast, and I have tried many different oil control creams along the way. This one seems to do a better job at oil control than most others have tried, I’m quite happy with it. I do get shiny halfway through the day, but I’m just an extra shiny girl lol. Nothing a little powder can’t fix but I like having this as a base to where I don’t need to load up on powder first thing .
