Seems OK
Just got these today and put them on our girls' seats. The first thing I noticed is that tall cups will work best. Our younger daughter uses the short Nuk sippy cups and they get swallowed by these cup holders. We also use the Avent cups with a straw which are wide, but they fit without a problem. Our older daughter is forward-facing and I had some choice about how far forward or backward I wanted to position the cup holder on the seat. I think she's going to like it. Our younger daughter is still rear-facing and this doesn't seem like it will be useful for her until she sits more upright. The recline of the rear-facing position will make it difficult for her to reach the cup holder for now. Not the most durable things in the world, but we'll see. One snapped on without a problem, but the other one fought me a bit. It took less than 5 minutes to install, no tools required. Definitely pricey for what you get but I love the Peg-Perego seats so I can't complain too much.

Expensive but worth it.
Expensive but worth it. My daughter (2 years old) uses it for her bottles/cups and whatever other small toy she has decided to bring with her that day. She'll place whatever object she's holding into the cup holder before climbing over it and into the seat before getting buckled in. That being said, she kicks it often and while it does seem flimsy it hasn't broken or come off yet. I also noticed that I guess I didn't read the instruction because I installed it under the Peg Perego carseat cover, not over it like how it is pictured. It seems fine to me, but I did feel like it was a bit low when I first installed it, but it's fine and hasn't bother my daughter one bit.

Not that great
Was this an after-thought by Peg Perego? I'm pretty sure it was. I'm a certified car seat technician, so I bought this brand of convertible seats for my daughter for a variety of reasons, and I know a lot about what else is out there. Most seats with cup holders have them built in, for a reason - so the kid can reach them. I thought I was going to be that parent that never let my kid eat or drink in the car so I thought I was fine buying a seat without cup holders but as it turns out, sometimes kids just get thirsty and if you're on a long drive, you end up giving them a cup. Then if they don't have a cup holder, they try to hand the cup back to you, which can be dangerous if not just annoying. There is no good place to put this thing. I read the reviews before buying, so I knew I'd have to clip it on in one place and slide it to wherever my kid could reach it. She'll be 2 this week and she can BARELY reach it regardless of where I put it. Just enough to get a cup in and out - definitely not enough to stick snacks in it and be able to get them out if I were to let her do that. Peg Perego, PLEASE put cup holders on your next car seat. This is a work around, but not a very good one.

This is a great cup holder for the Peg Perego convertible car seat. It was a little awkward at first because (as shown in the picture) it snaps on best when pushed all the way back. The problem with that is my 2 year old son was having a hard time reaching his hand that far back while properly strapped in the car seat. I ended up pushing it forward (on that little hump part) and now it works just fine. When you're snapping the silver top piece on, just get the back part of it under the cushion and that keeps it from falling off. I love that it fits all of our different sippy cups too. Even the Gerber Graduates ones with the wide bases fit just fine in here... UPDATE: We've been using this for well over a year now, and honestly I like it even better now that it broke LOL I accidentally snapped the silver top part off and it cracked. Now obviously this won't work for younger kids, but my son just turned 4 and it's a lot easier with just the bottom part. There isn't anything to hold it in place, but he doesn't mess with it and it's easier for him to get cups in and out now. I came online to buy another one of these for my 1 year old daughter's car seat.

Needs improvement.
The car seat is so good that I expected the cup holder to be of equal quality. Definitely something that the company can work on upgrading or integrating into seat. My child will take the cup holder off the of the seat throughout long trips because he plays with it and it simply lifts off when at the right angle. Needs improvement but good for short trips. Just know you may have to pull over to put it back on for longer trips.

Nice idea. Poor engineering
This cup holder's locking mechanism does not stay secure when engaged. The top portion of the cup holder, which is also the key locking mechanism to secure the cup holder, can easily be removed by a toddler. Brush up against the closed cup holder with a blanket and the top locking mechanism opens. I do not recommend this cup holder for anyone

Awkward placement
While I love having a cup holder for my toddler so that I don't have to hand her her drink and take it all of the time, the recommended placement of this one is awkward. I shifted it further forward and I have to make sure she's using one of her taller cups so that she can actually pull it out because it does sit kind of low. She's 2.5 years old by the way so I imagine it's more difficult for smaller kids with shorter arms... and she's tall for her age. It does slide back and forth if you push it around but for the most part, it stays put. She has not managed to pull it completely off, but she hasn't tried to either.

i like this cupholder most of the time but you have to kind of slide it back in the crook of the seat to get it to fit properly and it's a little hard for my so to reach back to get his water bottle sometimes... also, he has pulled off the silver part when it was not snapped in place 100% (takes some jiggering to do) and he pulled the whole thing off. little devil... but it's better to have a cupholder than not have one. I haven't tried any other brands to see if it would work with the chair. (but the chair we LOVE LOVE LOVE) just not the cupholder as much...

Unser Trinkbecher passt nur ohne den grauen Ring rein, welcher aber dazu dient das Getränk nicht so hin und her wackeln zulassen. Trotzdem schönes hilfreiches Produkt. So ist der Trinkbecher immer griffbereit in der Nähe des Kindes
