Removable ID holder!

While I wanted to replace a somewhat juvenile duct tape wallet that I've had for many years, the main reason is that a couple of chain holes in that wallet made using the bill compartment annoying because they limited access to the space. After much hunting around, I selected three wallets to try through Amazon's Prime Wardrobe and eventually chose this one. I initially saw this brand while looking around Macy's (there's no substitute for seeing the physical product), then came to Amazon to find a much cheaper selection -- no surprise there. Being able to remove the ID holder was the *most important factor* for me; they just add bulk and most of the time the person asking to see the ID will want to view it outside the wallet anyway. I do wish there were more slots, but the under-card storage is large/loose enough that it's not too much of an issue for the things I seldom use. In addition, if I wanted to use the ID holder, I would be unable to use one of the under-card spaces for the additional storage. Each slot is lined with fabric, as is the bill compartment, so there is no risk of the leather staining or otherwise marking the cards. Having a divided bill compartment is nice to separate 20s from the smaller denominations. After loading the wallet up with everything, I placed it under a couple of textbooks over a weekend and that broke it in just enough for everyday use. Final note: I am a woman and bought this to use for myself. I often dislike many female-oriented things. In the case of wallets, many women's wallets are of the pocket-book style, which is too large for me, and come in styles that I dislike. I wanted a plain, simple, standard wallet and knew that I would have to look to the men's selection for something that would suit me. That said, this most often goes in a bag, and rarely in a back pocket; I likely will not force the same rough wear as most men put their wallets through, so I expect this will last quite a long while.

Slim and useful pass case.

I had similar design that I cannot remember the name anymore since I had it for more than 8 years. I never used the big one at all and the insert was enough to have my ID and cards with a few bills in it. Damaged when motorcycle accident and I bought this to replace the old one. The insert is a little tighter to get two cards in window slots but it will stretch later. I managed to put 8 cards total is enough and it is slim enough that I don't feel like something in my pocket anymore. Material is great but it is Portfolio not the Germercy style I expected. No complaint since I bought it just for the insert. The pictures should explain how it looks and how many slots for the insert. Two windows fits 4 cards tightly and two side slots fits 5 if stretched.

Exact replacement found for picky husband!

Exact replacement for my husband's beat up wallet that he purchased locally almost 5 years ago. Couldn't find anything at a physical store with the same features, so Amazon search struck gold. The 1 feature that he required, the insert that can removed to hold your ID, maybe a 20, and a credit card. Great for when you don't need your entire wallet on you, like for a concert or some event. Good quality, and durable. The old one still has life in it, was just starting to wear at the higher stress points of removing and inserting cards.

Minimum 8 to 10 yr mens wallet depending on how much you stuff in it - last one I had came from major national chain, in these times I was very pleased to find it On Amazon.

Perfectly adequate wallet. This is my second time buying it. Half, rather than tri, fold makes it less bulky. It displays six cards and has two "pockets" beneath the cards for two more cards. I personally use these pockets for business cards. I use the divided (into two) cash areas either as large vs small bill separation or pre-counted storage. Overall, a good wallet. I'll continue to buy them as long as they produce em.

La cartera vacía mide 11.0 x 8.7 x 0.8 cm. Es de piel "rigida" y tiene una costura exterior a la mitad (donde se dobla); las costuras (puntadas) se ven adecuadas. En las ranuras entran y salen con facilidad bien las tarjetas de crédito de ese tamaño. No me encantó el producto, lo esperaba más suave al tacto. La "cartera" para identificaciones pequeña mide 9.7 x 7.0 x 0.5 cm. Es de una piel más suave y se puede retirar por completo y tenerla separada.

Buen material. Se ve de calidad

Lo compre para mi esposo y esta muy bien la cartera! Se siente muy bien al tacto y se ve de calidad. No es bultosa. Le gustó un poco menos que de la marca de CK.. pero estuvo a buen precio y ha sido una muy buena opción... ya lleva 6 meses con ella y continua muy bien.
