Best scissors for nurses!

Finally, a pair of scissors that is great for any first aid kit, purse, bag, AND/OR working at the hospital as a nurse. Small and fits in my pocket.

Perfect for my scrubs pocket

I’m a nurse on a hospital floor. I had a normal pair of shears. They were huge in my pocket, constantly poking me. I got this tiny pair. So much better in my pocket. Been using them for months now. Haven’t run into much that I couldn’t cut yet. Slices through several layers of coban easily. Granted, they won’t cut through something thick like a cast but those kind of things tend to be few and far between. I can always grab my full sized from my locker for those types of things. But on a daily basis these are what go in my pocket.

Great Scissors

I put these on my badge reel and use them for work. The holding part for your fingers is a little thick so I had to take some stuff off my badge reel for it to fit. Overall they fit nice and I can hid them in the back of my badge reel nicely.

Nice shear

I was looking for a small/portable shear for my fishing tackle and these fit the bill. Mainly bought it to cut braid fishing line and it does the job.

4 inches doesn't mean length of blade!

Well, I probably read the item description wrong. When it says 4 inches, it means the ENTIRE length. I was thinking the length of the blades were 4 inches PLUS the length of the handles. I was disappointed when I opened the package. As for use....These aren't sharp enough to cut through bandages in a single cut. Ok, it can cut through 2 layers of gauze with a few repetitive cuts. And it can cut through the plastic name bands in one cut if you're aware of how you're cutting. So overall, these scissors are great for SMALL jobs. And they fit really great in your pocket b/c they're so SMALL. But I'm going to find some bigger scissors that can handle multiple layers of gauze in one cut. Lol
