This thing sucks! As it should.
I've used it twice and am very happy with this purchase. You do have to put a little work into it. The water hose needs to be long enough to maneuver along with the pole and can be awkward to hold. I'm considering ziptie next time to the pole. You do have to keep pole pushed down to roll across the bottom and it can be a little awkward at first especially when you're short like me with an above ground pool. However none of these would prevent me from purchasing this again if needed. At the $40 price point I expected some work to go into it. If I wanted zero work equipment I would've spent a few hundred dollars on something more high end. That being said, I rolled this sucker around my pool and in about 15 minutes got pretty much all of the leaves out without breaking a sweat. The only reason I needed to do it twice is I have some algae issues so it would get cloudy and I couldn't see anymore so I waited a day to finish. Now that all they leaves are out I can get my algae issue under control. I had no issues with the bag staying on, I just made sure to tighten it well. Each pic is one pass over my pool just to show how much it was getting out. I was quite impressed.

Have to get the hang of it.
Took me a few times of using it to really get the hang of the best position to be efficient. Was very easy to assemble and the clip needed to be on the hose is removeable which makes it easy to screw onto the hose and then just click onto the device. Did a pretty good job when you have an abundant of leaves, such as after a storm or hurricane.

I don’t get how it works but it does
When I open the pool it always has a lot leaves and twigs at the bottom even with a cover on. I don’t get how but it happens. My robot vacuum spends half the time picking them up and then I have to clean it out. I figured I would give this a try and it worked. Hooked it up with a hose, put the bag on, and when i was done it was a bag full of leaves and twigs. I don’t really get how it works but it does.

Yep. Get One.
Life happened and I didn't get the pool covered. I have a forest worth of leaves in there. Well, I did. Until I broke down and bought this bad boy. HIGHLY recommend if you have leaves, especially if you have lots of them :) The only issue I had was that the net would get so full it would detach when I brought it to the surface. Small price to pay for how well this works.

Best
I had to buy this to replace my last one that lasted 8 years!!!! It is better than any vaccum. It takes no time at all to clean out bottom. And bonus i get to put water in pool at same time. No it isnt automatic, but a little effort is all it takes.

Works as it's supposed to.
Very effective at cleaning up large debris that settles on the bottom when high winds bring down a lot of leaves and such. This thing was great and spitting those twirly seedlings that flutter out of poplar trees too. Obviously, this can't replace an actual vacuum. But it's great to have on hand when you need to get up some large debris after a storm or to pick up some big stuff so that your vacuum doesn't have to be cleaned before it's finished. I like that the hose attachment snaps off, like an air hose or pressure washer nozzle, making it easier to attach or detach from the hose. If there are any possible weaknesses to the unit, it would have to be in materials. The swivel on the wheels seems a bit stiff, but still seem to turn well enough under water. The quick cinch on the mesh bag could be a bit stronger or the lip it goes under a bit wider. It slides off and on very easy and doesn't seem to loosen up but, once, when pulling the leaf catcher out of the water, with its bag a little over half full of debris, the bag slipped off the bowl and nearly fell back into the water before I caught it. Lastly, the plastic pole assembly is probably a weak point in the design that will eventually break, as it's just cheap plastic. Fortunately, it also appears to be a fairly common fitting, so it shouldn't be too hard to replace. If you can't see the bottom of the pool, as we couldn't when opening the pool at the start of the season, it can sometimes be difficult to tell the orientation of the unit. Since it's not weighted, at one point I discovered I'd actually been pushing it on its side. That said, weighing it down, would make it heavier to pull out of the water with a loaded bag, putting even more stress on the plastic pole hinge. Lightweight expandable water hoses don't pull on it as much, making it less likely to turn on its side, but at the expense of much less water volume. I ultimately found holding the water hose alongside the pole kept it out of the way and prevented it from capsizing the leaf catcher. Tying the hose to the pole should be even easier for bigger cleanups. It came fully assembled except for the mesh bag, which just has to be pulled over the top and cinched to the bowl.

It actually works!
I was skeptical at first, but this thing really works! Plus using it with a hose has the added benefit of refilling the pool at the same time.

This thing really SUCKS!
Best money I've spent for pool maintenance by far! I was a bit skeptical that this would work with only a garden hose, but boy did it work! Our winter leaves were gone in 20 minutes. So easy to put together and use. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat!!!

Works really really well but not worth 60$ price tag
It works. It’s not worth 62$. That’s gouging. It’s worth no more than half. But it really does work. I did a 12x21 pool full of leaves in 20 minutes. The suction is remarkable... the jets create a current into the bag and I thought that it would be too light but it seems to create enough to keep it low to the ground. Very very very easy to use. Since we closed our pool for winter and had not installed the winter cover, the pool was full of fall leaves and we had no skimmer to plug in the normal vac. This is faster and simpler than using the skimmer. I do recommend it, it really works but 60$ is insane.

Recommande grandement !

Best pool clearner!
Was worth every penny! Picks up everything, big or small!! The only bad thing was the pole attachment. Our pool cleaner pole didn't fit the attachment but my husband made a piece that slides everything nicely together. The small cleaner our pool came with didn't pick up anything or would get clogged. And was rectangle which made it useless around the edges of a round pool. With the poolmaster being round, I was able to clean the edges of the pool with ease!

Large holes in mesh
I bought it to vacuum up the algae that was collecting on the bottom of the pool. It did get the larger pieces but the mesh was too big to get the smaller ones. Granted it is sold for collecting leaves. I am going to try and put a pair of nylons over the top hole (which is about 6 inches across and see if that woks better for me. It was easy to put together. The pole I already had did not fit the holes though.
