Good Summer Fun

Very fun sprinkler! I bought this for my son's 5th birthday party for the kids to run through (along with a slip-n-slide). I was impressed because the spray from the sprinkler was much better than I was expecting. The kids had a blast with it and it must be pretty durable because I saw kids laying on top of it. It's a large beachball that you inflate and then it's connected to a hose. Another reviewer said they had a problem with ball rolling over since it doesn't have a flat bottom but we didn't have that problem. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is because a) the connector leaked some and b) when we've used it since the party, one of the spots where water is supposed to spray doesn't work anymore. I'm not sure this will be able to be used for more than one summer but it was great for the party and some fun afterwards so I can't complain!

Good sprinkler for the money

I ordered this beach ball sprinkler for my sons birthday party. It did exactly what I ordered it for, however it was smaller than I expected. I believe the measurements are off by 3-4". I also expected this to have a hose attachment that would extend out from the Sprinkler itself, but instead it attaches directly into the ball. The directions were also a bit unclear. After blowing up the ball, there is another plug located at the very bottom where you fill it with water. This created a stand for the ball to hold it upright. We learned from experience that it would be a good idea to fill this area with water before blowing up the ball. All in all the kids loved the Sprinkler and will continue to play with it often.

Worked great till….

It worked great till it got a hole in it which was after the first use. But my kids enjoyed it. We just patched the whole to be able to use it a few more times.

Lots of fun

I purchased the catipillar water toy for my 1 yr old grandson but when it made its premiere at last weekends family get together we all had a good time with it. It's best to drain it completely of excess water when your done using it and that was bit time consuming But.... all in all I'd buy it again if for nothing more then the laughs we all had when grandpa decided to ran thru it. Lol.

Needs a few improvements

We hooked this up for our kids to play in and my children absolutely loved it. However , it does have its flaws and most frustratingly is some of the openings spraying towards the ground and end up basically making a huge muddy mess. No matter how we lay this it moves around on it's own making random mud puddles. It could be improved by creating all the valves near an upper area and perhaps give it a base of some sort. We ended up sticking it into a little kiddie pool and they played with it that way.

Ours had a leak in it.

This ball ended up with a small leak the second day kids used it. Kids were throwing it back & forth. I think ours was defective. It wasn’t worth sending back for a refund since it was so cheap.

Good water toy

Works great but draining the water is somewhat annoying. The kids love it though. No holes. Longer than expected. For the price, all in all a nice item. Giving 4 stars because draining the water is time consuming.

Not suitable for Australia

Could not attach this to Australian tap system therefore will not work unless I can find a special connector.
