It's just okay - not as plush as I'd hoped.

I bought this to try and lessen the noise of my puppy's nails against the plastic on the bottom of his crate as he gets comfy. This crate bed is less plush on the bottom than depicted in the photos. My puppy took to chewing it immediately (as he does with everything) and, unlike the small pet bed I previously bought him, the fleece/cotton started lifting apart right away. He finds it comfy enough, but I have stop him from wanting to chew on it like one of his other play toys to hopefully help it last through the end of the year. I guess I should have spent the extra money on a more plush bed, but I was hoping this would have had a little better construction. . . oh well!

Good purchase

I have two dogs and both enjoy the bed. Am using it in the crates I purchased and they work. In fact, this is an introduction to the crate for one of them. We store her toys in her crate with the door propped open and i saw her grabbing a toy and rolling on her back on the bed. Purchase works for us. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is softer than it looks.

Meh

The bed fits perfectly in the medium sized crate I have. My only issue with the bed is how much it "sheds"! Clumps of the fleece stick to my clothes and if my dog is bored she will start to rip off the fleece that's already loose. I ended up purchasing a different pillow from TJ Maxx that stays permanently in the crate, but still use this one as a spare.

Good sized bed

I recently bought this bed for my 160 lb Alaskan Malamute, (she is a big girl) She loves the bed, however the center doesn't have a lot of padding. I had a smaller bed that I placed underneath and she is very happy with it. The larger the dog the harder the floor is on their ribs, she sleeps all night now, as before she spent the night trying to fluff up the carpet waking us up. 5/08 Well, the bed didn't hold up so well, the border has holes in it where it has come unsewn, it won't last a year. SORRY.

A bit large for the 24" pet carrier made by the same company. The pad wraps up the sides, it's a couple inches too large on all sides. Otherwise no problem.

I love it, only thing I would say is "negative" ...

I love it, only thing I would say is "negative" is that the fluffy stuff that is to keep him cozy comes off easily. Otherwise it's the perfect size and fit for his crate and he seems to love it! It's easily washable and doesn't change shape or stay dirty or stained at all.
