Versatile
First off, this serving tray is big - it works really well for larger gatherings but I think is a bit of an overkill if used for smaller parties. I like that it has two ways of using it: Either with the vented top trays to keep food cold, or only the bottom half with its three compartments - for example for chips, crackers or an assortment of nuts, i.e. foods that do not need chilling. The first time I used this was for chilled dishes that contained some sauce/liquid, so the vented bottoms on the top trays didn't work for that. I solved the problem by lining the trays with aluminum foil in order to keep the liquids from seeping through into the ice cubes. That worked well and still kept the dishes chilled. All in all the perfect tool for summer parties or buffets.

Not just for Appetizers! Grow Wheat Grass at home
I have been using these for a very different purpose than intended. I have been using them to grow wheat grass. water in the base and seeds (wheat berries) in the trays for healthy juicing. Works well. If your seeds fall through the slits you can buy so nylon insect screen from the hardware store and line the trays for less than a dollar to stop them falling through. I use a knife along the bottom of the tray to cut the roots off then the grass seed mat pulls right out of the tray and the mesh screen seperates easily and is reusable. rinse it all off and use it again

Beware no LIDS on this item model!
I feel a little dissatisfied that for the same exact price I paid for this item I could have had the Prodyne AB-5-L which would include the lids (should be standard). I was about to do a return on this item and re-purchase but Amazon would have charged me $9.00 to ship it back. I feel a little mislead and hope to emphasize fact that now I have a nice tray without lids for the same price I could have had them!

Great for parties
This is my second purchase of this tray. I love the lazy Susan design, but I wish that the center cup had a place for ice to keep it cool.

Fantastic gift
This is a fantastic serving Dish. I serve cold cooked shrimp often, with this dish you can put ice on the bottom of each section, sit the plastic tray on top of the ice, put the shrimp in the tray. There is a lid for each section ,what ever you want to keep cool will stay cool for a long time. In the center is a place for dipping sauce. Bought one for each of my 4 brown children and give them as a wedding present.

Use this for sprouting wheat grass.
I use this tray for growing my own wheat grass. Got idea on YouTube. It works very nicely for me. If you have a wheat grass juicer, then this Appetizers-on-Ice Revolving Tray may interest you. Actually, after it came in the mail, I wanted to keep it for appetizers! If you grow wheat grass I would recommend purchasing the Tray with a lid. This one does not have a lid. Joan Brock

keep cool divided tray
This item worked well for keeping my fruit and dip cool for quite a while. I have to admit I kept it inside on the 4th because of extreme heat, so I will have to test it outside at a later date. I am happy with it.

Great appetizer on ice tray.
I bought one of these appetizers on ice tray for myself this past summer and used it for every party we gave and took it to work 4-5 times. It worked so well that I bought 3 more them this Christmas season to give as gifts to my sister, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law. The all loved them for Packers football games and entertaining.

Great products, highly recommended!
I purchased both the appetizer on ice and the condiments on ice. This was perfect for my outdoor BBQ. I froze the water directly into the bottom so the ice outlasted the veggies in it and in the condiment one we took the solid block of ice leftover and placed it in the cooler. Pleasant surprise it’s also a lazy Susan (appetizer on ice) which I hadn’t realized. Bonus! FYI don’t put this in the dishwasher! My husband accidentally put the dip dish in ours and it warped. I figured it would but now I know for sure. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5. I think everything should go in the dishwasher.
