Manufacturing Quality Does Not Merit High Price

Pros: 1. Design matches current trends. Second purchase of a paired set in two years. 2. Frosted globe very attractive. Brushed finish also attractive. 3. Can be installed at a variety of drop levels to accommodated high to standard ceiling heights. 4. High quality stainless steel extensions. 5. Leads are also long enough to accomodate high ceiling heights. Cons: 1. High cost, considering where they are manufactured. 2. Poor milling of extension threads, especially the lamp to first extension junction. Due to squared-off fitting design, may result in crossing threads during installation. Use thread compound to slowly make connection with fitting at 90 degrees instead of 180 degrees, then rotate to 180 degrees. 4. Distance between base plate holes is not standard, resulting in bolts falling outside of a standard recessed box. 5. Special tool needed by design and included to install globe. May be misplaced or inadvertently discarded. 6. No customer service or parts number support number provided in package documentation. Need a replacement part? You will need to use the Amazon link.

Good seller

The lights assembled easily and look great. Upon arrival, one of the glass globes was chipped around the rim. Contacted the seller directly and they promptly sent a new globe so I didn't have to return the entire fixture.

Clean lines, easy to install

I updated the hanging chandeliers that were starting to rust in our master bathroom. Looks beautiful! I particularly like the fact that the electric wires are hidden inside the stainless pipe that leads to the lamp. Very clean appearance. I used an LED bulb that casts a color that is similar to incandescent bulbs instead of bright white. The frosted glass also diffuses the light for very soft shadows. This lamp was very easy to install and resulted in a professional looking clean installation.

Hard to get the bulb in

Almost impossible to put your hand inside to turn the bulb. Progress lighting has always been cheap junk. This is no exception.

Simple, classic, great!

I wanted a simple clean looking pendant for our island. I also didnt want to be able to see the lightbulb from the bar stools. These were great, especially considering the price.
